Think Reid and Savage should play in the centre to run the legs off the un-matchfit Emre and overun the weakened midfield. Emerton and Pedersen on the wings to also provide the legs to run Newcastles weakened team ragged. Dickov and Bentley to go upfront, i think Newcastles defence could cope with the power of Kuqi but their positional play is terrible so the more skilful and creative Bentley may unlock their defence better. I think Bentleys form has been pretty good of Late. If we havent scored then theres always Tugay or Kuqi to bring off the bench. Listening to Charlie Nicholas and Hughes on sky sports, sounds like a quality display. Seems to me like, although many may not like it but 4-5-1 seems to suit our players alot more than 4-4-2. Gives us great posession and defensive cover, and by the sounds of it Kuqi had plenty of service and chances. Only worries is Kuqis Lack of finishing, Poor concentration defensively in both games but that may improve with more games. Also where to fit Bellamy in if this is the best formation for us, Needs to play but where?

A perferct opportunity for a season long loan deal, Saha, Smith or Keane spring to mind. Might be a better option than splashing cash we dont have.

The ground is not far from the prom at all. If you walk towards the street broadway you can more or less see the sea. There are loads of bars on the prom but some are getting abit run down. Think morecambes ground holds around 4-5,000 so there should be plenty of room for a friendly. A morecambe player to look out for is Micheal Twiss, used to be at man u. A cut above the conference. Haha oh yeah if anyone is interested the crazy guy who runs christie park stores has fitted a beer pump to his newsagents, right next to the ground. Does anyone know the ticket prices for the morecambe game? hope there about £3 like the reserve game. Is Bellamy defo playing? i Only live bout 200m away from the ground. Morecambes pitch is in fantastic condition, better than many prem pitches, so should allow a nice passing match if anone is interested. Also Morecambe up their game for big teams, they were fantastic against hull when i saw them last season and also cambridge n ipswich years ago. So expect a decent game whoever si going. And as someone was asking, The Dog and partridge is a decent pub in bare bout a mile away from the ground, also there is a decent pub in the ground itslef. On a side note for whoever is interested, morecambe got voted as doing the best pies in england afew years ago haha. Cant beat a football pie. Should be a good day, and mabye see the new home kit.
