When I next watch the big clubs get umpteen chances to earn mega-money whilst the rest of our top-flight clubs wait at the table for scraps, I shall remind myself not to be cynical as LeChuck told us to "get over it". Don't know about exciting. Hughes will have to find a few more cut-price gems in the summer for me to get excited. Reid I'm quite happy with, Stead is worth keeping for at least another season, Jansen is an enigma, but I can't see him staying past May and Thompson is trying too hard, but does have teh talent. Other than that lot, there's a lot fo dead wood about.

I agree with you Paul. I think most football fans are decent people, but there's some that have a lot of growing up to do. There's something childishly indulgent about causing trouble at the football. It's behaviour that wouldn't be tolerated elsewhere, but the rivalry seems to be a justification for acting like little hard men.
