It's an old saying but you can't play without the ball in rugby. Any team that needs a try to win the game with less than 2 minutes left yet kicks for touch so the Irish can have a line out deserves to lose.
-
Oh dear, just when Scotland fancied their chances. Blown away. That's the best England have played for quite a while. Scotland were really dangerous from a yard out.

Sorry, yes I do mean Escare, where Esteve came from I don't know ! Don't know what's going on in Super League, Saints going nowhere, Leeds going nowhere, Hudds ditto, Wire struggling at the moment Salford and Widnes no great shakes , Bradford gone and getting beat by Hornets. Wigan should run away with it. -

I don't follow Super League as much as I used. I didn't realise Wigan had several players missing also. What this Esteve like at full back ? -

I had first half of The Wire v Wigan game on GMR last night. Sounds like Wigan are going well with George Williams starting to look the part. What's gone wrong at Warrington ? -

Playing against men even at a lower level will toughen him up. He'll learn how to give as good as he gets physically and look after himself off the ball.i -

Yeah we ran Hull KR very close and should really have beat Halifax in the two games we lost. Spurned a couple of very kickable penalties at a crucial time against Halifax to run the ball instead and came up empty. Hornets v Oldham on Sunday - the big one ! -
At a normal club you may be right. Rovers don't fit into that category. Any promising young players will be sold for the first half decent offer that comes along. They have even got the sense to hang on to them and maximise the fee. Sad I know but remember who told you first.

Great weekend team wise. Rovers win and my lot win away at Featherstone. We've got a Super League coach in the making in Alan Kilshaw. -
Maybe his wife gets him dressed like some others on this board.

Premiership football standard players at Rovers ? Have you been in a coma for the last five years ? That ship sailed a long while ago. However if you want to start a fighting fund I'll see if I can find Wayne Rooney's agents phone number. -
Cardiff is the big test. If we can actually win that game I really will start believing we can get out of the mire. If we run out of steam at 70 minutes again in this one we'll be made to pay.

A pal of mine watched Cas' s previous game. He was very impressed. -
Too easy. Any dingle will know the answer to that one.
-
Nah, that's much too simple a way of behaving.
-
Never heard of him.

Really Nostradamus ? How prescient of you. Most of us thought Coyle was doing a great job.

I can't see much point in that when none of those kids will get a place in their first team. I suppose it prevents other teams getting them though. -
Well I was immediately very apprehensive when I read about the Chokers total lack of football knowledge. Sacking an experienced manager and replacing him with a nonentity set my alarm bells ringing loud and long. The rest is history.
-
I can't blame those fans who saw where the appointments of Kean and Coyle were leading. It was obvious to those with eyes to see that both of those managers were well out of their depth when appointed.
-
That's crazy. We need the best brains working for our survival in the next three months. Next season's youth can wait until then.
-
Yeah it's amazing how six months on the dole can alter your perspectives.
-
Let's hope so. If he's as honest as that I can see him doing a Lambert before too long.
-
On another point - how come Lowe has leapfrogged both Johnno and Dunny in the pecking order and how come Dunny has leapfrogged Johnno ? From what bit I understand Johnno was doing a great job with the younger players.
-
Let me ask a question - of the " stay away/boycotters " how many will be returning on the strength of these latest appointments ? Not me for one.
