  1. Cops And Robbers - Bo Diddley
  2. Walk Away Renee - The Lefte Bank. I like the ' Four Tops ' version, but for me this original version is better.
  3. Good choice FQM, Joe Tex is very underrated, " Hold on to what you've got " is a classic. Back to the comp. Walk A Mile In My Shoes - Joe South.
  4. Shake, Rattle And Roll - Big Joe Turner.
  5. This Little Girl - Gary U.S. Bonds.
  6. Slip Away - Clarence Carter. Pretty good ' cheating ' song.
  7. When Blue Turns To Gray - The Mighty Avengers.
  8. Baby I Don't Care - Elvis Presley.
  9. You Better Move On - Arthur Alexander. He was a big favourite of The Beatles and The Stones. He wrote this and " Anna " off the Beatles first L.P. yet ended up driving a bus ! " Rocket 88" by Jackie Brenston is thought to be the earliest rock and roll record.
  10. Dizzy Miss Lizzy - Larry Williams.
  11. I Keep Forgetting - Chuck Jackson.
  12. Gary Gilmore's Eyes - The Adverts.
  13. Make Me Your Baby - Barbara Lewis.
  14. I'm Gonna Tear Your Playhouse Down - Ann Peebles.
  15. Not A Second Time - The Beatles
  16. Riders On The Storm - The Doors.
  17. Good choice Bob. The Arms Of Mary - The Sutherland Brothers.m
  18. I wouldn't watch a Rugby League game if I were you Norbert, the sheer excitement would probably kill you.
  19. This Old Heart Of Mine - The Isley Brothers
  20. Black Is Black - Los Bravos. Best band to come out of Espana. I know, it's not saying a great deal.
  21. Hi Audax, yeah Moby Grape, pretty good San Francico type band who made one massive classic 60's record. Check out " Omaha ". Very much in the style of " The Electric Prunes " " I Had Too Much To Dream Last Night" and " The Buffalo Springfield's " " For What It's Worth ", two more classics. I don't know the Nancy Sinatra song. Anyway back to the comp - " You're A Better Man Than I " - The Yardbirds. It's always still 1964 or 1965 in our house.
