Sadly he does - I've lost count of the number of games where he's clearly out on his feet, but they don't take him off.

In the sequence of play that inspired that comment, Brittain gave him the ball - Markanday played him right back into trouble - Brittain gave him the ball back then Markanday got bullied and lost it 30 yards out to spark a Sunderland attack.

Dolan is the MOTM btw - the one game in ten where he looks really useful.

In an ideal world he palms it wide, but it's not a bad save - he's just a weak goalkeeper. In a way I'm glad he doesn't have a clean sheet to hang his hat on today 'cos he's been poor again.
