  1. Hence why I keep saying the job JDT is doing is nothing short of astounding.
  2. We're not weak at CB and people were specifically asking for a midfield destroyer.
  3. Golden chance missed by Dack. C'mon, Bradley.
  4. Apparently the reason Mowbray played Gallagher and Brereton-Diaz out wide is because they both had (have) poor first touches. He paid £12m for the pair. Clown.
  5. Everyone saying we need an experienced, mature, battler in CM. Garrett has just left a delicious one on one of their 'men'.
  6. Aaaaaand that's why Gallagher should be a sub or moved on.
  7. JDT has played him centrally (albeit our front 4 interchange), but he's playing him out wide today because Vale can't play there.
  8. Yes, teed up for him 20 yards out with no-one closing him down. Soft goal.
  9. Unless he sorts his workrate out he's at least a league too high. He's clearly quite a talented player, just brushed off the ball too easily and doesn't bust a gut.
  10. That's not what either of us said - you stated that Gallagher is a decent finisher and he's far from that.
  11. Just got back from a morning walk with a Burnley supporting mate and he brought up the Harwood-Bellis injury. My heart bled, how are they ever going to cope!?
  12. I prefer Carter to JRC, but I can see why he's gone that way. I assume Dolan isn't fully fit because he'd be in my team every time over Vale. Otherwise it just highlights our need for a proper striker.
  13. He's been telling fans since day one that the squad isn't good enough - yet he's still crucified by many despite having them in third. Lots of people projecting their anger at Mowbray's journey on JDT. He can't win really. We all know they need players, it's up to Broughton and his team to bring them in, but it's clear we don't have much money to throw around.
  14. Hugely impressive interview that - I'm delighted we've finally got a long-term plan for the club.
  15. He's played 18 times this season for Norwich - the Farke comment was, I assume, from years ago. Personally I think it'd be a cracking signing if the price is right.
  16. He's also been massively off the boil since the World Cup. Has Dennis played any games for Notts Forest?
  17. He played in one of the best teams of the last 20 years and he won two titles in Sweden (look where Malmö finished pre and post JDT). He knows what it looks like. He's not talking down promotion chances because he's on a five year jolly like Mowbray. He's talking them down because he knows the players aren't good enough - we're not bringing on a third CB and employing a low block for 20 mins against relegation threatened Cardiff at home for fun - it's what he has to do to grind out wins. He's evaluating us as much as we're evaluating him - he won't be here for long if he's not backed in the transfer windows, but he's also not going to publicly call out his boss. He'll be pushing for better players behind closed doors.
  18. Agree to disagree. Last year was Brereton-Diaz converting chances at a ridiculous, unsustainable, rate.
  19. If he's behind Buckley, Morton, Travis, Garrett and a possible loan (even if he's more talented than all of them) then a loan for 6 months to a league team where he starts every week is the best thing for him.
  20. He torn his MCL, he's been injured for most of the loan at Stoke.
  21. Doesn't hit and giggle mess with your gray matter? If it's not Lancashire or England I don't care.
  22. Never heard of Kilkenny, but at 22 he'll be wanting to start most games. I assume this means they're trying to find a loan for Wharton and / or Garrett.
  23. They're trying to turn Harlock into a RB aren't they? He definitely started there for the U21s recently.
