v Middlesbrough (h) - 29/12/22Exiled_Rover replied to Herbie6590's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard You do remember the summer, right? Where we bumbled around for a month and a half without a manager?
-
v Middlesbrough (h) - 29/12/22Exiled_Rover replied to Herbie6590's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard He was warming up, but didn't come back out after like the 60 minute mark - the point when you're thinking we need a CM on to replace one of the front four.

v Middlesbrough (h) - 29/12/22Exiled_Rover replied to Herbie6590's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard Ah so you long for the days of Mowbray then - we looked like we'd met for the first time on the car park for half of his time in charge.

v Middlesbrough (h) - 29/12/22Exiled_Rover replied to Herbie6590's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard The manager certainly knows it, that's why he keeps playing down talk of promotion. Did I really hear a '"go back to Sweden" chant from the BBE tonight? I definitely heard boos when Dack was rightly subbed. Baffling.

v Middlesbrough (h) - 29/12/22Exiled_Rover replied to Herbie6590's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard The club should take legal action against that referee - he's cost us 3 points tonight. If he referees again then the EFL aren't fit to govern the game I'm afraid.

v Middlesbrough (h) - 29/12/22Exiled_Rover replied to Herbie6590's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard Probably because he's realistic and has looked around the squad and thought "this isn't a promotion winning side" and sadly we don't have £30m to throw about like our neighbours to make it one. People are calling for Adam Wharton to save us - an 18 year old who can't last 70 minutes at the moment. I've no doubt he'll be brilliant in time, but like Phillips he's being managed carefully.
-
v Middlesbrough (h) - 29/12/22Exiled_Rover replied to Herbie6590's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard It's because people were burned by Mowbray's talk of a 'journey' so they're reacting in the extreme to anything that sounds similar.

v Middlesbrough (h) - 29/12/22Exiled_Rover replied to Herbie6590's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard Absolutely not. He can't make those runs in the PL because everyone is athletic as he is (moreso really because they're not knackered after 70 minutes like he was). His end product was also very poor. He's a very good Championship player, there's no shame in that.

v Sunderland (a) - 26/12/22Exiled_Rover replied to Herbie6590's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard Agreed. Unfortunately we don't have anyone else. I don't think Gallagher deserves to start either, but he's all we've bloody got.
-
v Sunderland (a) - 26/12/22Exiled_Rover replied to Herbie6590's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard I wish he was a £20m striker - as the summer transfer window showed, he's an £8m striker because that's what teams were willing to pay for him.
-
v Sunderland (a) - 26/12/22Exiled_Rover replied to Herbie6590's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard We need better than Gallagher - Ross Stewart is 5 times the player. Unfortunately you saw today what happens when Brereton-Diaz plays centrally - he falls over looking for a free kick. He can't handle any sort of physicality.
-
v Sunderland (a) - 26/12/22Exiled_Rover replied to Herbie6590's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard It's almost like we need three transfer windows... When Ryan Hedges is your standout player in attack then you're seriously devoid of quality I'm afraid - I desperately want Gallagher to turn into a good player, but £5m was daylight robbery for him. Brereton-Diaz has completely gone off the boil and we don't have anyone to pick up the reigns. Our amazing run pre-January last year was due to Brereton-Diaz converting at a ridiculous rate. Our woeful run post-January was because he got injured.

v Sunderland (a) - 26/12/22Exiled_Rover replied to Herbie6590's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard We didn't sack the manager when finishing 15th, but I've been told off for questioning this fan base, so I'll leave it there...
-
v Sunderland (a) - 26/12/22Exiled_Rover replied to Herbie6590's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard I didn't say we deserved to win it - that should have been a comfortable draw and was playing out that way until Travis continued his woeful form and gifts them a win.
-
v Sunderland (a) - 26/12/22Exiled_Rover replied to Herbie6590's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard No chance.
-
v Sunderland (a) - 26/12/22Exiled_Rover replied to Herbie6590's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard Which is why the fact we're 3rd (for now) with half the season gone is a testament to how good a job JDT has done. A newly promoted Sunderland have about 6 players I'd be very, very interested in. That shouldn't happen. Ross is miiiiiiiles better than anything we have upfront, for example.
-
v Sunderland (a) - 26/12/22Exiled_Rover replied to Herbie6590's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard This is daylight robbery, but that's football for you. Morton should have scored and Travis should have cleared that attack. Fine margins. Hopefully we strengthen in January - need a RB (if Brittain is out until Feb), a ST and a CM at a minimum.
-
v Sunderland (a) - 26/12/22Exiled_Rover replied to Herbie6590's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard It's interesting you say that because Brereton-Diaz has been the worst player on the pitch for us today. He hasn't come back from the World Cup break.

v Preston North End (h) - 10/12/2022Exiled_Rover replied to Upside Down's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard You realise we're 2nd in the league, right?
-
v Preston North End (h) - 10/12/2022Exiled_Rover replied to Upside Down's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard How is he at fault for Travis not being able to do the basics of a CM?!
-
v Preston North End (h) - 10/12/2022Exiled_Rover replied to Upside Down's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard Preston have created nothing and suddenly they're 2-0 up. Baffling. Ah, that's shit from Travis. Get him off.
-
v Preston North End (h) - 10/12/2022Exiled_Rover replied to Upside Down's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard I'm not quite sure why Mola is being singled out for criticism? He's done ok so far this half. If you want to criticise someone, criticise Morton, he's been diabolical.
-
v Preston North End (h) - 10/12/2022Exiled_Rover replied to Upside Down's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard Cunningham didn't get anywhere near the ball. He's been giving fouls for minimal contact all day, yet he's just allowed Cunningham to clumsily bundle over Brereton.
-
v Preston North End (h) - 10/12/2022Exiled_Rover replied to Upside Down's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard Ok ref, if that's not a foul on Brereton then you simply can't blow for 90% of the fouls you've given today.
-
v Preston North End (h) - 10/12/2022Exiled_Rover replied to Upside Down's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard How is that not a booking for their #2? He's pulled Hedges back when we're breaking. This ref is shite.
