I think we'd all take a point. The newly promoted teams are always flying at the start of the season - Birmingham even more so because they've spent a metric tonne of cash. A point here is not a bad result - and we'll need every single point come the end of the season I fear.

Depends if Hedges is injured or not. Right now Alebiosu is doing a good job of keeping their £10m+ LW quiet and Hedges is man marking Gray out of the game. Not sure I'd be making changes to that at half time.

Their CB was using Ohashi as a climbing frame at the end there. Absolutely bonkers how little protection he gets.

Alebiosu has that 'Walker' recovery speed - gets him out of a lot of jams.

Sadly it's going to be a really attritional season. No investment into the squad in 3 years - we'll look to out athlete and out enthuse teams. Very little quality in the final third.

They got back really well to cover the slipped pass through to Kargbo - that was the best chance of the match though.

They brought in two RBs (unless the long term plan is to shift Miller to CB) so they clearly don't fancy Duru. I didn't think he looked out of place when he ran out for us last year and the Barrow fans seemed to like him - but what do I know?

There simply aren't any captains in that team (I don't know what McLoughlin is like, but he's only been here 10 minutes).

And no doubt Rovers fans will get criticised for their poor support (without any sort of nuance). And the Birmingham fans will sing that Blackburn is a shithole, despite being from the biggest shithole in the country. Same as it ever was under these owners.
