I didn't realise Brereton was playing CB.
-
Their player stamped on Rothwell and wasn't sent off. He should be sacked I'm afraid - not fit to referee at this level.
-
So our player has just been unfairly sent off. What's Mowbray's reaction? Sits back down chewing his gum. He doesn't give a shit.
-
What the actual fuck?!
-
He's an integral player to this shitshow.
-
He over-complicates things because he's bought poorly. Gallagher, Brereton and Armstrong should all be played up the middle. So should Graham, Holtby, Rothwell and Dack. How do you fit them all in? You can't.
-
We were being praised by the Wigan commentators last match. However, if you put any pressure on our players, that (pointless) possession football goes to out of the window. We don't have enough good footballers to play a possession game. Not when it counts.
-
Oh I know. Ambitious owners would have sacked him last year.
-
Actually - good. We've played shit. Mowbray needs to go. I'd lose them all from here until the beginning of next season if it results in his departure.
-
We're playing Holtby as a False 9. Armstrong is wide left, Samuel is wide right. It's no wonder every long ball comes straight back.
-
It really is a holiday camp. Any manager worth his salt would have yanked Samuel off after missing that sitter. How he's allowed to stay on to hit a first time cross into Row Z is beyond me.
-
If we go bust it's because we're paying people like Samuel tens of thousands of pounds. What a joker.
-
He needs to improve his end product, but he looks the most likely to make something happen.
-
Bennett caught in possession in his own third again. Absolutely criminal.
-
I'd argue it was a good ball if Armstrong ran onto it. Armstrong was basically standing still - that's on him.
-
Kuqi. Both would be a revelation in this side though.
-
Samuel's contract is up, right? He's awful.
-
We play dire football under Mowbray with no clear plan. I don't enjoy it - I can't imagine many who would. We're back to the Bowyer days of buying players because they're available, without a clear plan of where they're going to play. The difference being Bowyer had an eye for a player.
-
If you don't chase back, you don't play. Just ask Rothwell et al.

There's 20 players on the books I'd sell before Nyambe to get us back onside with FFP. For the sake of his own career he'll probably leave - but he's one of our few standout players so it'd be a shame to see him go. -

He does, but that's because, unfortunately, Rovers are disliked by the local press. Radio Lancs loves Preston and is reveling in 'little old Burnley' defying the odds in the Premier League. As we were the only successful club in the area for 20 years, the resentment runs deep in the local media. Especially as I suspect we were quite arrogant about it. -

The fact he's playing Holtby as a False 9 in a cloggers league with two 6'+ strikers flanking him says it all about Mowbray. -

Maybe he's turned himself into an absolute worldie whilst in London, or (almost certainly) maybe he's playing with a better back 4. I don't watch much football these days - all I can tell you is that whilst he was turning out for Blackburn Rovers, he always had a calamity in him. -

Just absolutely clueless football since going 1-0 down. An embarrassment.
