  1. Lost his mojo and his backroom staff. It's a no from me. Go find a young, hungry manager from the lower leagues. Someone who's ripping up trees, but doesn't have the funds / hasn't been there long enough to kick the team on.
  2. As evidenced by his PL season last year, no he's not. He's a very good Championship player, but nothing more.
  3. At this point the conversation is turning to "imagine dropping Bell".
  4. Gallagher can't protect him from those 40 yard balls in behind Douglas. He's too slow for this level in this formation - every team knows it and exploits it.
  5. Nah, not much in it. We could have had a couple easily if the ball bounces differently.
  6. Unfortunately he's just so slow. Everyone gets behind him.
  7. I saw that Mowbray was our longest serving manager since Souness. Baffling.
  8. Not without Brereton we're not. He provided so much to the team in that AML position. Haven't replaced that at all.
  9. Looks like we're back to our best - Norwich have offered absolutely nothing, but they're somehow 1-0 up.
  10. Reading this thread makes me want to sell / release Pike.
  11. How do I like a post on this new system?
  12. For me Wharton had nailed down a starting job at CB. That injury was devastating for him and us. Just a lovely no-nonsense CB.
  13. Fair enough RE: Trybull. Davenport has looked good when he's come on and Johnson was shite on Wednesday. He's knackered. Open the door for Davenport - what's the worst that can happen?
  14. Nah you have to treat Ayala with kid gloves. Don't play him twice a week if you can afford not to.
  15. Johnson was out on his feet for most of the match on Weds. What do Trybull or Davenport have to do to get a game?!
  16. Apparently Cyberpunk 2077 is terribly optimised on the PS4 and Xbox One. Which is incredible as it was announced 7 years ago!
  17. Lenihan wasn't the reason we left a clearly shattered Johnson out there for 90 minutes and took off our 6'3" striker moments before resorting to long diagonal balls into the box. This loss is on Mowbray tonight. Any one complaining about Armstrong being greedy baffles me. That's just who he is as a player. He'll score a lot of goals in a side that creates for him, but he'll very, very rarely return the favour. That's what you get for £1m.
  18. He's a yard and a half too slow to play LB in this league at the moment. Don't know if he was faster pre-injuries, but teams get in behind him all the time.
  19. How bad do you have to be for me to turn to my dad and say "I'd bring Bell on". Hang your head in shame, Douglas. Also, hand over a weeks wages for that ridiculous right foot volley you tried from 25 yards in the 91st minute.
  20. This is on Mowbray unfortunately. Paralysed on the sidelines watching his shattered team lose every second ball for the last 20 minutes.
  21. Midfield looks flat to me. I'd bring on a sub or two to liven things up.
  22. Their commentators were talking Prem all match - they're a ways off that without BWM. They've gone backwards this year.
  23. It was crazy letting him go out on loan after the window had closed so he couldn't go to a L1 / L2. Him going out and playing senior professional football though is exactly what he needed at this stage of his career. It's sink or swim time for him.
