  1. Well if we were talking millions I guess I could chill in a well air conditioned hotel room for a little while 😉😂
  2. Fantastic place to hold a World Cup! I wouldn’t visit if you paid me.
  3. Sparky seemed to control him And get the best out of him. Robbie Savage DOF, Mark Hughes Manager, Craig Bellamy Number 2. Is Wouldn’t be too bad? ☺️
  4. Someone else has mentioned Bellamy as Kompany’s number 2 at Burnley, so it’s probably that.
  5. A dingle I work with mentioned that Craig Bellamy has just signed up for a membership at Clitheroe golf course so he’s rumoured to be their next manager, he wasn’t too happy as he’s a former ‘bastard’. Could he be linked to us?
  6. Maybe Ayala and Mowbray have got a similar half season syndrome medical condition? I’d have thought it we were pushing for promotion he’d make a real effort to get fit and play, but not, he doesn’t give a fuck obviously.
  7. I think he’d be an improvement. The England players respect him and give 100% for him. In the Euro final he was shown to be a bit lacking tactically and wasn’t the man to finish the job, but he brought back a lot of pride and excitement. Some managers suit international football more than club football. It’s a very different job, probably easier in some ways, but harder in others.
  8. The forum I posted was a general football forum for all teams, but that thread was a carbon copy. They called him the fraud on the their, accused of brain washing the fans. They also mentioned taking the CEO with him. Waggot I presume? It’s just crazy how some fans lap up all the shit coming out of his gob. He’d probably walk straight into Coronation Street. He’d be pretty decent I reckon. Maybe that’s too far to travel thought. Is Byker Grove still going? 😂
  9. So he must just ignore the results over the season? His overall record isn’t anywhere near top class and at times is very low class. If he was a chef, his restaurant would go downhill after Christmas and he’d blame the customers palates. He has the ego of José with the results of Stanley Ternant!
  10. I’d love Sparky, but I get a slightly anxious feeling that it will end up like when we have a few players come back after a great first spell. Roque and Bentley spring to mind(of course there have been players that have done well second spell..). Sometimes it feels like it slightly tarnishes the good memories of them?
  11. Who is going to conduct these interviews? Is there anyone at the club that actually knows anything about football? Anyone can bullshit in an interview. Even Mowbray can sometimes talk a good game.
  12. I was searching this morning for Coventry City forums to find their views on Mowbray. It’s quite bizarre how in 2016 their fans are having the exactly the same discussions that we did during the start of a Mowbray death spiral. Looking at the results and positions briefly it’s almost like a carbon copy of his time with us. As someone else asked previously, why does this happen? Many of the Mowbray apologists blame injuries, bad luck, lack of funds in January etc, but the common denominator is Mowbray. Does he himself not notice the pattern? His mood after January always reflects the results, does he mood affect the results or the results affect his mood? Does he get bored after January? From what I know of Mowbray, he won’t for one minute believe(or at least admit)it’s his own fault and anyone that questions he will face his wrath. The LET and Radio Lancashire would never have the balls to ask the question. Or the CEO for that matter. Maybe a psychologist could sort him out? Or maybe he wouldn’t listen to advice and tell them he’s wrong. Maybe we could look at bringing in a second manager. Let Mowbray manage until January and then let him have a break for the rest of the season. I imagine his record minus January onwards is pretty good throughout his career. https://www.thefootballforum.net/threads/mowbrays-last-supper-coventry-city-v-colchester-united.10423/
  13. If you look on Twitter you will find many Mowbray fans. It’s like a different dimension. This smug looking bastard for example idolises him and he’s not alone. Finish the job? Couldn’t make it up
  14. It all comes down to who is advising them. If it’s that idiot Honeyman, then we are doomed.
  15. Maybe Venky’s don’t either. Damien Johnson next manager. Better get stocked up on coffee asap.
  16. Probably because he’s that carefree about the club and fans that he didn’t do his research. You’d have thought he’d have at least googled the club(or maybe looked in a book as he’s maybe not tech savvy) and looked at our history in preparation of his job application here(or maybe he didn’t have to have an interview). At least he knew about the Shearer and Sutton days I guess. 🙄
  17. Edit: on further reading, I see it may refer to a disability, in that case, you’ve got a point. Mowbray is a fucking stupid idiot however.
  18. Seems pretty appropriate, unless I’m missing something?
  19. So he’s basically saying that he’s not been the appointment that was needed? Or maybe they know that once he’s gone we’ll do better, like we did when we told him to do one for the second half against Derby. We’d probably have performed better with no manager at all after January. He’s hindered us.
  20. Gross incompetence/stupidity. No plan B. Stumbled across a formation/lineup that worked and then didn’t have a clue when the key element was missing.
