  1. Problem is I don't see those three as options either. Khadra missed one recently, Gally couldn't finish a Freddo right now and Rothwell barely looks arsed most of the time and is far from a goal machine. Once someone has already missed, anyone else sounds like a better option. Dack wasn't ready, but I'd say the other three were probably just as likely to miss it, and like I said you can 100% guarantee if they had, everyone would have asked why it wasn't Dack. We're in a really sorry situation right now, and I bet it takes a few games for Dack to believe in himself again now.
  2. You could legislate it actually, by toning down your persistent lofty predictions to account for the crap manager.
  3. Agree I had serious concerns about it and said out loud he was going to miss. I posted about it earlier too. But like I said then, the problem is who else could be trusted? Gallagher has the composure of jelly, and Rothwell doesn't do the simple things well, at times hitting the ball like a right pansy. If either of them had taken it and missed, everyone pretty much to a man would have been outraged Dack wasn't given it.
  4. Am I remembering rightly that the commentators said Bristol hadn't kept a clean sheet away from home all season?
  5. Plus keeper off his line, but both those things happen virtually every penalty.
  6. We can't recall anyone outside of a transfer window. The ones we sent out aren't ready yet either (if ever in the case of McBride). Be better using Vale even if recalls were an option. Agree with the first paragraph though.
  7. The last two games were winnable. Now our talisman who we have been eagerly waiting the return of has fluffed his lines and cost us the game, which will be very demoralising. Make no bones, this is a major body blow. Nothing short of a response like the one after the Fulham thrashing is going to turn this season back around now.
  8. Wow, didn't realise he had gone there. Would have had him over Mowbray...
  9. I'm sure my love of the club will overpower this, but right now I don't want to watch another game this season. Absolutely sick to the fucking back teeth of this. I have more important things to worry about at the moment than football coming along to ruin every weekend. Mowbray out.
  10. It isn't. A penalty is a free shot at goal with the ball not moving and no defenders to beat. On the miss just outside the six yard, the ball was moving at pace and a defender slid across the easiest part of the potential shot. Adjustment was needed. It was still poor but fucking up a penalty is much worse.
  11. It isn't. It certainly isn't the Dack of old though just yet.
  12. I was worried about Dack for that penalty. First game back, team struggling to score, game decider, his 50th club goal if it went in...too much pressure for a lad who has only just come back. Thing is, who the fuck else out there could you trust to take it anyway? Had to be Dack, and yet I felt it wasn't gonna happen. We need to stop diving to try get another.
  13. Oh fucking hell, what ridiculous tactic are we going with now? Irony is, this is probably JRC's best performance since he came back (not a glowing compliment mind) and it's the one he gets hooked.
  14. Never. Replay showed he clearly clipped his knee. Wow, that back heel from Gally, didn't know he could do such a thing. Doubt we will ever see that from him again!
  15. Another idiotic ref. Never a dive from Khadra, he was fucking fouled.
  16. If we are counting times teams almost got through on goal, we did that too. Getting carved is extreme hyperbole, especially when our defender stopped the chances you mention. They had one early shot in a good spot that Kaminski looked to have well covered. I'd say Bristol showed marginally more ability to actually make chances, but they didn't show any ability to put them away. And the general play was pretty even, probably in our favour. Played off the park is just silly talk, sorry.
  17. We have had plenty of sniffs, especially against Millwall. We are just turning our nose up at them.
  18. What's that black tape on Khadra's leg? Some sort of support?
  19. Weird comment either way, nobody has been played off the park.
  20. Rovers website seems to be unable to distinguish between Nyambe and JRC, as it has the former down as starting. It must think he played last time out too, as it claims Khadra for Giles is the only change from Millwall.
  21. “Dack and Buckley, we’ll think about tinkering with formations and playing with two No.10s and giving teams with their positional play and not standing up against big centre halves and getting marked.” FFS Mowbray
  22. FYI, I didn't read a single thing you wrote after you chose to make your opening line one that accused me of being one eyed for accurately completing the set of conditions which result in players not signing contracts. I didn't deny the other two conditions you posted are factors too. By denying the club haven't offered terms the players and their agent will accept, you are the one being one eyed. Argue if you want, I won't be engaging in it any further.
