  1. The last couple of Mowbray headlines in the LT: No January transfer window regrets for Rovers boss Mowbray 'The right position' - Mowbray on Ryan Giles' right wing role I fucking give up.
  2. Why is it that just the title of this thread fills me with dread?
  3. Markanday only made one appearance. We have no idea if he would have made a difference or not.
  4. If you can barely move, you can have whatever brain you like, you're not likely to put it in. Dunno about you, but I've played when I'm shattered and my touch, shot, pass all desert me because my body isn't doing what I want it to anymore. He'll be playing Saturday I'm sure. Regardless of how tonight went, I'm glad we didn't risk him.
  5. Not learnt from our one dominant half one wanky half pattern then.
  6. I'm glad JRC is dangerous in and around the box like we keep being told...
  7. Bookies I looked at had us as strong favourites. About 2.75 I think it was, whilst Millwall were at 4. That was a few hours ago.
  8. It isn't for sure. It's a nice thought, but it's no more than speculation. Fully fit and ready Dack, I'd agree. Puffing out his arse with achey muscles? I'd much rather not take the risk that it doesn't work or triggers his injury against rough house defenders, for the sake of 10 minutes in which he is unlikely to do anything. It'd definitely be a Saturday return for him, for me. Maybe even a starting role by then, but probably prefer to see how he does for the last 30.
  9. I'm (moderately) sure he could manage it. I'm not sure he will be very good at it. He won't be physically very sharp after 90 mins the day before, especially at this stage of his recovery.
  10. I see no sense in doing that a day after he played 90 minutes. After his long layoff, he will be knackered after that. On Saturday though, he needs to be coming into the frame.
  11. They play games so far apart at international level, especially competitive ones, that the injury risk for them is a minimal factor. They don't even have any more fixtures scheduled in yet, so I'm assuming the next time he might be needed is the World Cup.
  12. Yep, they are really starting to piss me off now. He's going to be half fit at best, he isn't going to be much use against Brazil and Uruguay. Coventry and Blackpool, with an extra week to train up, is a different story. But he could easily break down before then, in a high intensity game with travel thrown in. They honestly piss and moan every time he is missing for a game, but we've missed him for a bunch now. This season could decide the whole forward trajectory of this club. World Cups come and go. He is also a better player relative to our players than he is relative to theirs, ie we need him more to function. Fuck off Chile!!
  13. Dack isn't either. Nor does he look good at it when he plays there. We actually don't have a 'real' false 9 at the club. Let's play one anyway though eh?
  14. Wow. Just wow. Honestly, if it's not the alcohol, are you on something today? Normally I agree with most of your posts but there's a couple of doozies today... (Not referring to the other one I quoted btw)
  15. I wasn't fully watching just then, may have missed something, but it looked like...Rothwell fouled in the middle of the pitch, play continued, long enough for Fulham to have a shot from the outside of the box...and then their player got booked for the foul which wasn't given?
  16. I can guarantee that if we offered them Travis plus 2 million for Reed, it would be rejected out of hand.
  17. He has struggled with distribution most of the season really, compared to the year before. He is used to doing the 'sweeper keeper' thing, closer to the middle of the pitch. We've changed our playing approach this season of course so that doesn't really happen anymore.
  18. This fucking manager. Make all your changes by 65 minutes against these dirty bastards, and take one off from the forward line to put another midfielder on, whilst maintaining two defensive midfielders and the LB who has been roasted all fucking game. Why does being a Rovers fan have to be this infuriating?
  19. So, you'd rather stay down here, with no 200 million quid windfall? And lose half the side in the summer with barely any money to replace them?
  20. You want Dolan at wing back and Buckley up front? Tony, get off the forum and manage the game!
