  1. Which I've always thought was weird. I've seen very very few comments in the past about Ayala not being good enough. Almost every 'negative' about him was simply observing the cast iron facts that he was expensive and spent most of last season injured. Somehow people have translated that into he is crap, and think it's time to say na na na na na. Gallagher has been looking sloppy again since that second time down on the deck. Really should have come off.
  2. As soon as he deludedly thinks we have the players for it, he will be back to that style.
  3. We are 4-1 up. I don't care how much peppering they're doing.
  4. Would have put a tenner on that too. But by the time I looked, it was 20-1 just to be top scorer. Wtf is he taking Dolan off and not Gallagher for? If Gally gets injured now this will be a serious I told you so.
  5. Second time Gally being down on the deck, just back from an injury. Obviously should be the next sub.
  6. 2 goals for BBD 1 goal, 1 assist for Dolan 1 goal, 1 assist for Gally. Buckley spraying great passes all afternoon, and an assist. Going to be an interesting one for MotM
  7. Still not sure I'm awake. Now is the time to use the subs to rest key players and give chances to youngsters who we don't normally see much of. Hmm maybe slightly more cautious now theyve scored. But even we shouldn't...nah I'm not even going to risk saying it.
  8. I said before but in case you missed it, the LT recently reported we have a one year extension option on him. Come next season though, same situation, in which case the answer to your question is only if he moves to another club in England (or it might be the UK) and only if we offered him a deal on equal or better terms to what he is on now.
  9. I'm gutted cos I would have bet on it in a heartbeat if I'd known what the odds were. As soon as I found out I went to look and they'd already plummeted.
  10. He lost the ball three times on his way to goal and still scored, ludicrous 🤣
  11. BB taking the ball from halfway to put us 3 nil up...shit, I haven't woke up yet have I?
  12. Agreed, apart from that rugby shot a couple minutes ago. Passing has been sublime.
  13. Hasn't helped them though. But yeh in the first 25 or so they kept getting in behind us. A combination of grit and luck kept them out. Still fancy them to score at some point but hopefully our two is enough.
  14. Christ, Gallagher nearly scored a stunner from outside the box too
  15. No way we deserve to be winning 2-0, but we are!! Terrific assists for both goals, this time a cracking cross from Dolan
  16. Gally with an excellent first touch! Wonders will never cease! Well taken lad
  17. I never like seeing that monster Moore out on the pitch against us.
  18. There was good ole Peter Ndlovu too. I was too young to know him as anything more than their star player in the panini album though! What I do have a slight memory of is the year before we won the league. It was a bit like a mini reverse of the day at Anfield the next year. Coventry away was the last game in which we still had a mathematical chance of winning the league, albeit slim. I think it was my first ever away game and I recall a ridiculous roundabout on the way in. We lost the game and some of the Cov fans were commiserating us on the way out. They were happy enough to win but seemed to prefer us to win the league rather than Manure.
  19. I already clarified I didn't mean it literally, correct. I never implied we can't do it, I'm suggesting it likely has costs that exceed the gain, particularly at a stage where the club is clearly cutting back on spend.
  20. Would it not? I didn't mean literally knocking it down first or anything, but I assume 'safe standing' doesn't happen by just pulling the seats out. I assume there are other structural costs required.
  21. How long before we hear 'we need to look to follow the model of clubs like Coventry' with no hint of irony?
  22. Thing is, if Pike comes back and makes even one sub appearance for us, then if I'm remembering the rules rightly we wouldn't be able to send him on loan anywhere else in January if he hasn't broken into the team properly, which would stall his development. Unless the rules only apply to the pro leagues (he has gone to the National League North).
  23. The U23s need to start putting some wins on the board, pronto.
