I said before but in case you missed it, the LT recently reported we have a one year extension option on him. Come next season though, same situation, in which case the answer to your question is only if he moves to another club in England (or it might be the UK) and only if we offered him a deal on equal or better terms to what he is on now.

I never like seeing that monster Moore out on the pitch against us.

There was good ole Peter Ndlovu too. I was too young to know him as anything more than their star player in the panini album though! What I do have a slight memory of is the year before we won the league. It was a bit like a mini reverse of the day at Anfield the next year. Coventry away was the last game in which we still had a mathematical chance of winning the league, albeit slim. I think it was my first ever away game and I recall a ridiculous roundabout on the way in. We lost the game and some of the Cov fans were commiserating us on the way out. They were happy enough to win but seemed to prefer us to win the league rather than Manure.

Safe Standing - Your Thoughts

I already clarified I didn't mean it literally, correct. I never implied we can't do it, I'm suggesting it likely has costs that exceed the gain, particularly at a stage where the club is clearly cutting back on spend. -

Would it not? I didn't mean literally knocking it down first or anything, but I assume 'safe standing' doesn't happen by just pulling the seats out. I assume there are other structural costs required. -
How long before we hear 'we need to look to follow the model of clubs like Coventry' with no hint of irony?

Thing is, if Pike comes back and makes even one sub appearance for us, then if I'm remembering the rules rightly we wouldn't be able to send him on loan anywhere else in January if he hasn't broken into the team properly, which would stall his development. Unless the rules only apply to the pro leagues (he has gone to the National League North).

The U23s need to start putting some wins on the board, pronto.

Safe Standing - Your Thoughts

This is true. I suppose there is an argument that standing forces the correct posture. But that issue could be solved as easily by people just sitting up straight when they sing as it could by totally rebuilding stands. -

Yeh I'm an actor from time to time, so I do know about the (fairly minor, at least in my case) vocal advantages of being stood up. Proper posture even sat down will correct for some of these, as the lower half of your body isn't involved in singing and only has a small effect on posture if you've already got your back straight. I already figured somebody was going to make this argument. Your second point is a bit more compelling to me, although speculative. I'm not too sure that being stood up makes you feel more like you're in a group. If that part is actually true then yeh maybe it could make a difference psychologically.
