  1. But also one result within that changes the extrapolation. If we had held our lead against Birmingham as we should have been able to, it's about 55 points. Football is a game of too small margins and that's too small a sample. Need to pop some points on the board soon though.
  2. I always want whatever is best for the club.
  3. Haven't we technically sold less players than we've bought?
  4. For quite some time it has been: Waggott out, Pasha out, Gestede out, Venkys out. It isn't a case of just wanting one gone, or posters blowing with the wind. It would matter who replaced Gestede, but whilst Venkys are in charge it will invariably be someone corrupt, incompetent, or both.
  5. He made a terrible point for the reasons I outlined on the page before this. Official club communication from a publicly known figure is extremely different to releasing titbits through an anonymous account. The second comes across very shifty, partly as the club can deny anything from that account if it backfires.
  6. I've always understood it that he works for an agency. In what capacity and what agency, I've never been clear.
  7. There's a big big difference between official communication from the club chairman (we don't even have one of those btw) and unofficial communication from an anonymous employee of dubious intent. I would have thought that obvious tbh.
  8. Yeh it's relevant for small clubs whose products go on to sell for multimillions after moving to a higher league. But 75k or whatever, even to us, is barely worth mentioning, and even less so to Liverpool.
  9. First I've heard of it not going to former clubs. Certainly in FM20 it was hardwired into the game as a payment to former clubs. They're not generally wrong with that sort of thing, so unless the rules changed since the 19/20 season... (and if they did that's a hunk of crap IMO, players get enough compo as it is, clubs are the ones bleeding money, partly because of shit regulations that let big clubs poach their youngsters).
  10. Solidarity payments always happen, it's not the same as compensation. We will see a similar benefit from moves Adam Wharton makes. And it's separate to sell on clauses, so we will get the bulk of the 5% if he moves fairly soon. It's also not down to moving within the same country like compensation is, so any future moves Dolan makes for money, ourselves and Preston will see a small slice. I'm not sure how long these rules have been in place but it's at least a few years.
  11. The severity of a foul is not supposed to affect the advantage rule, unless there's a head injury.
  12. He committed enough of a foul, the ref gestured play on. Which means he thought it was a foul but was playing advantage.
  13. Tbf having another look at the replay, I think there was contact from behind on his legs. But no more than we failed to get given when it happened to Ohashi or even Cantwell in the previous two games.
  14. Tavares didn't give the pen. It was Miller (though really it was just the ref).
  15. The poorest decision looked to be by the ref.
  16. And yet we just had someone shoved over on the edge of their box blatantly and got nowt until they followed up with another foul right after.
  17. I can't watch, at work, but I'm struggling to understand how it can be selfish but also he should really score. If he should really score then he should be taking the shot and it can't be selfish.
  18. Travis has been a potential contract rebel and he has been captain until now. Unless they're actively seeking to leave one of them should be captain. Todd absolutely doesn't have the personality for it.
  19. Kargbo starting against one of the strongest teams in the league. I look forward to people writing him off again when he struggles to get through their defence.
  20. Well that's a very strange choice of captain.
  21. I've always been of the impression that Coar's is a token role on the board. Perhaps a way to show there's a bridge between the old and the new, when there isn't. I assume he doesn't do anything really. Maybe appears whenever there's a meeting requiring unanimous consent once a blue moon and nods his head whilst someone passes him a cheque. None of this to undermine your point, quite the opposite. I sense he has no convictions about us at all.
