  1. Haven't even bothered with that this year. I do agree that the shirt looks fine for what it is, but the lack of quarters really irritates me.
  2. Excellent. Now the big money is off the table, it shouldn't be a problem to get Travis signed to a new 3/4 year deal. Unless of course now we can't compete with the East Midland powerhouses of Derby.
  3. De Neve doesn't need one, and Ohashi will be converted to GBE based on minutes played last season. Andy Watson missed out Mafoumbi who I think would still need a place, along with Toth and Kargbo. So if that's the case it would be one spot available. De Keersmaecker wouldn't need a spot, but Al Sahafi and Terho would need one.
  4. I'm amazed you thought I was talking about you with a "this lot" comment. Was obviously talking about those running the club not going ahead with the reversed halves, despite having all the meetings, surveys etc telling them that it was the one feature that was non negotiable. Quite clearly not aimed at any one person on here.
  5. The article says that we have two ESC spots left for next season if Yuki is converted, but doesn't mention Mafoumbi who I thought needed one to come over last summer?
  6. No reversed halves tell me that there is everything wrong with it. Thick as mince this lot.
  7. Yeah it's possible. I was just expecting it to be referenced in the article, if he was to no longer qualify.
  8. Bloody hell Chaddy read the last few pages before jumping on that comment. Maybe you will understand the post then. Plus, I never said it about De Neve.
  9. So it would make Elliots article incorrect then? Thought that Andy Watson was the "best in the business" at this sort of thing?!
  10. Didn't say you have. However, Nixons wording plants the seeds in the wider fanbases mind that they are at fault for wanting too much money so we're better off "cashing in".
  11. Yes, which i stated at the start of you quoting me that this is a Nixon story I believe.
  12. We're owned by billionaires, of course we could keep him if we wanted too, however this club doesn't want a certain type of player anymore so I can only presume that we don't really want to keep him. Every player? i didn't say that on De Neve? And it starts, always the players fault.
  13. And we dont sign up existing first team players to new contracts anymore. If we genuinely wanted to keep Travis, I'm pretty sure we could, however as history suggests our offer will be token at best. Some stories Nixon pens I will believe based on historical information available, others i won't. So I can have it both ways.
  14. It's pretty easy to see that history suggests that this one would be correct? He's also getting the spin in that Trav wants more money from Wrexham, all the players fault you know.
  15. Given our history with contract negotiations over the past 18 months, this one probably looks more true than his other stories, no? That doesnt answer the question.
  16. Anyone sensible has seen it all before. Rovers dont want these players anymore when they can be replaced by cheap foreign imports on less than half there wages.
  17. To the surprise of nobody Nixon saying we're "struggling" to do the Travis and Brittain deals 😂
  18. JRC was at the time too as he was playing superbly. Easy to look back now and say who was a coup and who wasn't. They all needed renewing at the times they were renewed. Some have worked out, some haven't.
  19. Pears, Carter, Wharton, Pickering, Buckley & JRC. Also Garrett and Leonard if you want to count them as they would both need a squad place allocating this coming season. Travis signed his extension a few months before he joined.
  20. He is also contracted until 2028. I just don't imagine us paying a fee that someone under that length of contract would command.
  21. Initial thoughts are he looks more suited to be a Tronstad replacement.
