150th Anniversary kit/celebrations

Seen that Derby have sold 2700 tickets and have been told that Rovers won't let them have any more. -

We're averaging one win per block before the International breaks, so I imagine that's us done until December win wise. -
Valérien Ismaël: Blackburn Rovers Head Coach

I imagine, if anything were to happen to Ohashi or Gudjohnson, then we would probably play two 10's say Cantwell & Morishita behind the forward and keep the back 3. -

The two greyed out areas at each side haven't gone on sale, it's just those two blocks where is loads of blue seats. I would estimate at about 300 sold. -
His name was actually Jorge Gonzalez Diaz

Agree with the rest but I dont think this bit is particularly fair. He was more happy than anyone on the pitch after the game. I think Tronstad has struggled a but this season, if you think back to last season he had Dolan and Brittain to the right of him, Travis next to him and Batth and Hyam behind him. I feels like he's trying a bit too much more this season as the quality around him has dropped quite drastically and its having an affect on his game. Still one of our most important players, just needs to get back to doing what he was so good at last season. -

Admin talk is irrelevant here, venkys will never allow that to happen as it puts them out of control. We'll just limp on like this for the rest of time at a lower and lower level every few years. -

Looks like Sheffield Wednesday will be deducted 10 points shortly as they are heading into administration today. Be a tough 2-3 years or so for them while they rebuild, but I would bet everything I own that they will be league or two higher than Rovers by the time we get into the next decade. -
Lancashire Telegraph BANNED.

You would think so wouldn't you. Yet I know adults who have changed there club to Accrington Stanley over the past 15 years, and one who changed there club to Harrogate so anything's possible! -

That's how I am. I only have the one lad who is nearly 16, and he's every bit as invested in this shitshow as I was at his age. I think if he eventually gets fed up and doesn't want to go that might be me done too. Sad times. -

Back when we had some senior pro's who were decent at this level we sometimes did this. This lot are hopeless though. We'll have some good passages of play, create one or two good chances, and then lose 2-0. -

No messing about back then. I'm pretty sure Hodgson had been sacked before I got back to the train station after that game. Here we'll dither on until Ismael is of no use to Pasha/Rudy anymore. -

Since Southampton won the play off final in May 2024, they have won just 4 league games. They couldn't ask for a better game at the minute. Rovers 0 Southampton 2. We limp on. -
v Sheffield United (h) - 21/10/25

That was November 2021, but we have beaten them even later than that. We beat them 1-0 under JDT in March 2023 that left us 3rd in the table with a real outside chance of getting into the top 2, or at worst consolidate a top 6 finish. But as predicted by many at the time, the lack of a January window came back to bite us as we ended up winning 1 of our last 11 to finish 7th. -
Valérien Ismaël: Blackburn Rovers Head Coach

Not quite, Mowbray got a new 4 year deal back in 2018. Absolutely on the last part though, VI is perfect for this club in these circumstances. Unless for whatever reason he goes of his own accord he will be here until he is of no use to those above him anymore. -

This will never happen, as that's when questions start to be asked. Worrying thing is, this season is probably going to be as good as it gets for a long time. After this season when we're languishing around 18th in the third tier in front of 5k fans it's game over. -

Of course its by design. The goal here is to be a league one club with 90% academy players as the first team squad with a few cheap foreign punts to compliment them. Much cheaper to run a nothing league one club that'd even more outnof the spotlight than even a bottom send second tier club. I thought it would be the season after next we would go (with majority of contracts ending in 2027) but it looks like they will get there wish a year earlier. Fair play, the one plan they will have hit there target early. -
Valérien Ismaël: Blackburn Rovers Head Coach
MarkBRFC replied to DE.'s topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
Chaddy had the correct opinion on Ismael back in March, unsure why he has flipped it back as he's done nothing to justify it. He's a loser, who isnt being helped in anyway by the club to not be a loser. -

One and half blocks never went on sale according to the ticket map. I'd guess around 1500ish. If we had sold 3k the social media handles would be bleating on for days about it. -
Jon Dahl Tomasson - no longer Sweden coach
MarkBRFC replied to Tom's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
Yeah as mentioned earlier in the thread, the time here for JDT has been and gone. Does make me laugh all the snide remarks you see about him from Rovers fans on social media etc, like he was a huge problem for the club. There's times where I think the owners hit the jackpot with parts of our fanbase unfortunately. -

You're forgetting the fabulous suggestion of naming a training pitch at Brockhall after him instead.
