Venky’s (& Suhail) Out Protest Ideas
MarkBRFC replied to DuffsLeftPeg's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
Just not going to happen. I do agree on a boycott though, and it should be the rearranged Sheffield Wednesday game. -
I've seen enough of Hedges at RWB to last me a lifetime, that dingles away performance was the stuff of nightmares. TGH out to the right, and then Tronstad and Baradji in the middle maybe.

I just can't believe that anybody thinks that there isn't a possibility of the Cantwell 50 games thing being true, with the way this club has treated other players over the years. It might be, or might not be, but to just dismiss it ignores everything that has happened here since this lot rocked up. -

Massive trouble next season whatever league we are in thats the plan. Would rather see James Edmondson promoted if we're not going to replace him properly. -

No, and it never will. They will still be here in 10 years time with them crowing about how competitive we are a league or two lower. -

To be fair I think we can win tomorrow. I just don't fancy us in the games after, especially with our injury situation, you just know Cantwell will "break down" again soon. Alebiosu going to afcon is a huge blow too. Would love to be wrong and come out of that batch of games with some breathing room, but we'll see. -

I think Miller has a bit of worth as a right sided centre back in a 3, wouldn't like to see him in a back 4 though. Maybe he would be ok at right back we don't know. McLoughlin for me though is really poor. -
Nothing is happening with the pitch. They are just moving a game to another ground so there isn't an extra game played on it before our next home game.

For me this is the only game we have a chance of winning before the break for the FA Cup 3rd round. Milwall will bully us all over the pitch next week. Even though we have a good record at Middlesbrough, they are absolutely flying and won't have a better time to see off there bogey club. Despite our decent away form, you just know that Sheffield Wednesday's first home win of the season will be against us. Then two home games against Wrexham & Charlton which we will probably take 1 point from on current home form. We have to win on Saturday to give us some breathing space. -

Hopefully our away form can carry on for another game as we can't afford to lose this in my opinion. Portsmouth 1 Rovers 2 -

He said "most" not "all" so you didn't need to bring up Gudjohnsen's 6 goals as it's clear he isn't one of the ones who have been bad. Him & Alebiosu have been good, Mori is getting better and I think will be a good player, TGH is average. The rest have been poor to dreadful, with the jury out on Baradji. I can't understand anyone looking at McLoughlin and thinking he has been a good signing, bloke doesn't tackle & dreadful in the air for someone who is 6'3. You can see why Hull shunted him out to left back to keep him well away from anything going on in the middle. -
Valérien Ismaël: Blackburn Rovers Head Coach

If you read the post properly and used common sense, it was clear he meant Alebiosu as he mentions Bardji further down in the post. I just knew you would try and pick him up on it though. -

McLoughlin is nowhere near good enough to be in the middle of a back 3. That header for there goal summed him up. You might get away with him on the left side of a 3. -

As has been said above, put them together and we are sat in 20th. Nowhere near good enough, all could have and should have's. Lose on Saturday and we'll be in huge trouble with the next few fixtures coming up. -

Since it was clear we were shipping out all our championship experience and replacing them with cheap punts from abroad, I have always felt that we will spend the season in the bottom 6 with a 50% of going down. Seen nothing to alter my opinion, home form will kill us unless we turn it around very quickly. We will start losing away before we start winning at home unfortunately. Gut feeling say it's going to be very close but Cantwell's quality if he stays, and Gudjohnsen sniffing out goals I think will see us finish where we are now or one place lower. -

It's been a disaster Chaddy. Good job they have managed to to get a few away wins as we would be adrift with Wednesday. -

19 home games for Ismael, 3 wins. No home clean sheets since Ismael took over. Worst points total after 10 home league games in our 150 year history. What a job this bloke is doing. -

I would say that after witnessing the last 15 years, if there is one thing nobody at the club cares about, it's a pissed off fanbase. -

If the heavy rain is stopping in a couple of hours for the rest of the day, I suppose it depends what damage the overnight rain has done to the already mess of a pitch, I think they will play, whether the game lasts who knows but i definitely think it will kick off. -
Until they stick it on a Thursday night for some overseas country TV that nobody will watch.

Quite glad we didnt get a prem club away, couldn't be doing with the club crowing about us playing some giant when we used to play and beat them regularly before this ownership turned up. Would have liked one of the non league ones away really.
