I think a lot of that is just moving on with life/getting older etc. What adult with family/work commitments etc has the time or can be arsed to watch every MOTD, Super Sunday, Champions league etc plus going to Ewood every other week, a few aways etc. I certainly don't. All by design. There is no interest in negotiating new deals here. A first team player hasn't signed a new contact here since December 2023. Can probably more than halve the wages of them 4 by replacing them with a couple of low cost foreign signings.
