Still maintain we might get a result tonight just to give us that breather as that what has seemed to happen so far this season, before then going on lose our next few. -

I think there are a few bad sides around us, and like I said I think its at least a 4 way shoot out for one place, it will go to the wire I imagine either way. Like said in the previous post, if we're in the bottom 3 after that Norwich away game though, then I think that will probably be that when you look at the games afterwards. -
2025-26 Relegation thread

I've always been of the opinion this season since it became clear we were going to sell off all our decent Championship experience that it will be 50/50 on relegation but we would eventually limp to safety when we get Toth back in goal, Alebiosu, Morishita & Gudjohnsen back in the side, and I think I still do but those results over the weekend were a killer. It's getting far too close for comfort. Although I believe that 2 spots are now taken and it's 4 maybe even a 5 way shootout for the last one. The next two weeks or so are huge, against a poor Swansea side away, 3 home games in a row including Sheffield Wednesday, and then Norwich away. Think after these 4 games we will more or less know, if we're still out of the bottom 3 by a few points my original prediction of limping to safety will happen I think. But as has been said further up, the main concern for me is if/when we fall into that bottom 3 do we have enough characters at the club to claw and scrap to get us out of it? I'm not sure we do. -
The January 2026 Transfer Window

These aren't rumours, they are just taken from an article on the LET website where they asked a handful of fans who they would look to sign in this window. -

No. Due to Macclesfield being non league he can still train with us on days they don't train and even play in our under 21 games while he is on loan there. -

This is about the time we'll get a result to give a bit of daylight again. Which will then be followed by a few defeats. -

The player who "has been dealing with a problem for a few weeks" is Cantwell or Tronstad I reckon. -

He has definitely posted them on this site, can't remember what thread though.

Only issue with Donnum's medical is that no medical has taken place. Quite clearly he was a red herring for the other guy, no matter what roversxtra says. -

They are a breakaway group from this site. It was set up around when we dropped to league one I think. The "thinking fan's" forum according to some! -

This was discussed a few pages back. -
Elliot also caveated that article with another post about supporting the LT with subscriptions etc as a lot of work goes into articles like that and it doesn't just take an hour to throw together. Not being funny, but most Rovers fans who have paid attention to the last few years could have written a very similar article. There is no news in there. I found the Toth and Cantwell sections particularly amusing, not a chance either of those get done.

Agreed. Don't mind McLoughlin on the left side of a 3 too much, but he should never be in the middle. Unfortunately I think he will be though until Wharton gets back. -

Mercer's information he posts on here rarely checks out, but I do remember back in the summer when he said that two players were about to sign before anyone else had got hold of it and his contact did have that correct to be fair, one was the initial attempt to sign Baradji before the medical put pay to it, can't remember who the other was that we signed at the same time. Also said that Brittain's new contract was done too though! So who knows, maybe we'll unveil Paul Mullin later tonight. -
Venky’s (& Suhail) Out Protest Ideas

Yeah, they (can't quite remember who was the instigator) set up that forum because they decided they didn't like this one, despite posting on it for years. -

It wasn't reported when we signed him. But neither was Hyam's and we had one on him. -

O'Leary is a fairly steady keeper at this level I think, ever present in the last two seasons for a side that finished 11th & 6th. Been injured a while then spent a bit of time on the bench, but has got himself back in the side playing there last 5 games. There will be nothing in this one I'm sure. -

I imagine for this game he will go with a relative safe option in Pickering, his lack of attacking threat won't matter in this game because we will barely get out of our own half. -

I don't really doubt that the recruitment team are doing all they can. Those above them however, those are the ones nobody should have any confidence in.
