  1. Go on then, I'll be the first.... "Plagued by injury?! He will fit in here then!"
  2. They have hammered it home that much, that by now everyone knows that It isn't a separate deal at all.
  3. Buckley for me had one of his best games in a Rovers shirt in the away game against Milwall last season, not sure if there midfield has changed much since then. I also disagree that he's not ready to start every game yet, for me he has to play week in week out now so he can get his career going and to see whether he is going to be a big asset for us going forward, he's spent the last two seasons in and out of the side so he should be ready to go now and cement his place as one of our key players..
  4. 17-18 - League Cup - 2nd Round - Burnley (2 leagues higher) 17-18 - FA Cup - 3rd Round - Hull (1 league higher) 18-19 - League Cup - 3rd Round - Bournemouth (1 league higher) 18-19 - FA Cup -3rd Round - Newcastle (1 league higher) 19-20 - League Cup - 2nd Round - Sheffield Utd (1 league higher) 19-20 - FA Cup - 3rd Round - Birmingham (same league) 20-21 - League Cup - 2nd Round - Newcastle (1 league higher) 20-21 - FA Cup - 3rd Round - Doncaster (1 league lower) 21-22 - League Cup - 1st Round - Morecambe (1 league lower) Better than I thought in fairness, just the last two where he has lost to lower league opposition.
  5. Who on earth at the club is going to remove Waggot from his duties? He will be here until he decides he doesn't want to be anymore, just like Mowbray.
  6. In 2017-2018 he actually won two FA Cup matches against Barnet and Crewe as we joined in at the first round that season. Totally agree though, abysmal record and it is unacceptable.
  7. We managed to beat these fairly comfortably in the middle of that horrible 2 wins in 17 spell last season, so I think it will be pretty close this time, 2-1 Rovers.
  8. I just can't see him coming here to be honest. I think he might hold off and see who else is interested before jumping out on loan somewhere near deadline day.
  9. I would still be very surprised if Obafemi comes here.
  10. Is that the actual cost of the ticket paid he's knocking off, or the pro rata amount it would be worth on the Season Ticket?
  11. I'd like to see Carter, Pike Davenport and Butterworth all start, then keep the rest the same as Saturday. Garrett/McBride to get last half hour if things are going well.
  12. Think all these contracts will just be left to run to be honest. I can't see any of them signing new deals even if we did offer them.
  13. 1 - Probably take him a while to get up to speed, we absolutely need another CB addition. 2 - Never played a game of professional football at any level. 3 - Davenport has 5 starts for the club in over 3 years, Garrett none. 4 - Agreed, if something happens to Pickering we can't be relying on Cirino step up, or for JRC to play there as he's made of glass.
  14. To be fair it is our first game against West Brom this season... Looks like they have just thrown the Waggott tax plus more on top of the original match day prices to me. Wasn't it something like this that the Fans Forum wanted instead of charging an extra £3 after 12pm? Got there wish by the looks of it.
  15. The fact his annual salary works out at more per week than Nyambe is getting tells you all you need to know.
  16. He was brilliant for an hour on Saturday I thought, would have given him MOTM over Rothwell. I'll be very pleased if I'm proven wrong on him, but he needs to play every week now, not in for 2, out for 4. in for 2, out for 5 etc. Lets see how he develops being one of our more important players.
  17. Guaranteed to play through the middle with Sam and Ben out wide.
  18. Why in your opinion do you think that is out of interest? I think, it's because these owners and more recently the CEO have downgraded everything to do with the club in the last 11 years, nothing is better now than what it was before these idiots took over. What on earth makes you think they are capable of building better facilities than we currently have?
  19. Must have been in the minority my ST worked fine.
  20. Yeah thats what the doorman told us as we were going in yesterday in regards to social distancing. Poor choice of items though, hardly anything kit wise in stock. Luckily managed to get the GK top for my lad, only about 7 left all different sizes.
  21. Enjoyed the game yesterday, good to see a young side pressing from the front, driving forward at every opportunity and giving everything. I like that first 11, with Dack, Wharton, JRC and Johnson to come back into the squad. Think that 13/14 can give anyone a game and would probably finish mid table under a different manager. I will be pretty annoyed if we just sign more PL kids on loan to beef the squad up instead of giving Pike, Butterworth, Carter etc games. One thing I will say though, Mowbray is better with less options at his disposal.
  22. Looking back through history, selling our best goalscorer rarely works out for the better. This one won't either, despite the insistence (or desperation) of some to want you to think that it will.
