This is definitely the Eustace word for "journey" or "project". Never read the word so many times! For what it's worth me and the lad went last night with it being our half term, thought the side looked a bit leggy and really off it on the ball until Buckley came on. Cardiff still managed to create 3 or 4 good openings though and would have beat us quite easily with better finishing. Happy with the point and clean sheet, but still think there some heavy defeats to come yet this season. Luckily with at least 5 or 6 sides as bad as us around us I think that keeps us up. Next season is going to be horrific though I feel, we'll make Rotherham look competitive. -

Its not a "traditional" midweek round of games that's why, these are games that have been rearranged because of cup commitments. Although home clubs can opt for it to be shown at there own discretion. More likely is that Rovers will announce at about 5/6pm tomorrow that you can purchase it for £10. -

Never been more certain of a defeat in my life. Rovers just don't do these long Tuesday night away games well at all. Cardiff 2 Rovers 0 -
John Eustace - our head coach

Your friends must all be full of hyperbole. Didn't one of them say that we were playing the best football he had ever seen after a 3-1 defeat to Watford during covid?! -

We beat Bury twice in league one though. Which if you think about it is an incredible feat considering a good portion of our fanbase think we would be where they are without our wonderful owners. -
Rovers Rumours & Speculation
MarkBRFC replied to Herbie6590's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
Can't imagine Gregg is giving this gig up easily, he's in a position that he doesn't look remotely qualified for to me. He moves on and he's taking a huge backwards step in terms of club, position, and salary at his next job IMO. -
So? Are they both that unprofessional that they couldn't get on with there jobs for a few more weeks and see where the landscape was at the end of the window? It was purely financial and that's all there is to it.

Like the home game, they will be far too strong both physically and mentally or our poor little lambs. Preston 3 Rovers 0. -

Kenny lost his first official game away at Swindon, then got pumped 3-0 by Southend a couple of weeks later. Souness only won 3 of his first 10 in charge. Hughes only won 2 of his first 15 in charge. While last night was dire of course it's not always a new manager bounce, the squad is unbalanced and poor, and will only stay up because there are 3 worse teams below us, no matter who is in the dug out. -
We are going down (the pessimism thread)

Bottom 3 will be Rotherham, Sheff Wed and Stoke. 3 Woeful sides that will save us. -

I just don't see McGuire happening. There is a perfect get out now by claiming the new head coach doesn't want him. -

Going for Eustace to grind out a 1-0 win. Big Fadz to score. -

Could be I have no idea, just remember seeing that someone was retiring and thought I saw it was Silvester. -

Also wasn't it confirmed on here that Silvester is retiring anyway and working his notice period?! Or was that someone else I lose track. -
I imagine he will bring one or two with him, for some bizarre reason thought Lowe and Benson must stay.

I think, but might be wrong, that we paid to get Appleton from Blackpool all those years ago for some reason. -

Don't think its a bad idea at all to target the Newcastle game, we probably won't have another game as high profile all season. Just not sure getting there fanbase on board will work. -

I dont think Newcastle supporter groups are interested in that sort of thing, now there club is sorted they laugh at clubs like us. They had 3000 leaflets printed taking the piss out of Everton when they played at Goodison recently. -

2009 the last time we beat these at home in the league. 3 draws and 5 defeats in the league since, with the one FA Cup win back in 2015. Can't see anything changing here, Rovers 0 Stoke 3 -

Is the press conference completely cancelled or are they just going to have a senior player sit there and take some questions? -

Classic venkys. The loan fee will be a lot less than the 2.3m, and despite the obvious spin there will be no intention of making it a permanent deal.
