I'm amazed they haven't closed The Riverside yet for some made up safety reasons, maybe it's on the cards.

They did in 2009, why would it be different today?

Although if he had left it ACD has a free shot at goal. -

Ha I am for my lads team funnily enough, not sure i would fancy it with Waggott and Co though! No idea I might have missed that. -

Usually they have to put a rearranged game into the first reasonable available midweek slot available, which i thought would be inbetween Luton and Milwall the other week. Not sure why it didn't go in there. The reason it hasn't gone into Feb despite the lack of games is because of the FA Cup 4th round. It can't go in the midweek before the 4th round (after preston home) incase they want either club to play on the Thursday night if through, and it can't be in the midweek of w/c 17th Feb because that's where any games needing rearranging from 4th round day would go. Same with midweek w/c 24th Feb as that's before the FA Cup 5th round, and again they might want Thursday night FA Cup games that week too. -

I think it worked against Luton when. Cantwell wasn't on the pitch, as we had ACD and Beck out wide who get back and stay fairly wide. Against Milwall it didn't work because we feel like we have to shoehorn Cantwell in and he leaves us exposed when he's out on the left. So if Cantwell ever finds himself injured for a while or suspended again then Ohashi/Gueye would probably be my next choice. -

I personally think our form has turned. A late salvaged point yesterday should turn the momentum in our favour for tomorrow, and with everyone expecting a win, we know what happens next. Rovers 0 Hull 1 13,873 -
For a club always pleading poverty you would think they would be on sale now.

One for the next Fans Forum meeting please @K-Hod because I think the "needing work" excuse for the end blocks in the Blackburn End Upper tier is nonsense. Elliot Jackson has chimed in saying its "maintenance" as he understands it.
-
Yasir Sufi saying on X that the end blocks in the Blackburn End Upper are not suitable for sale because some works needs doing up there that can't be done between Christmas and new year. Why have they only discovered this now and how long has that work needed doing for? Also strange that it affects both end blocks.

Ryo Germain has signed for Hiroshima, who I think we got Yuki from. -
Yep it's another myth of JDT's first season that we collapsed after Christmas. Our form remained quite good up until the FA Cup Quarter final, with only 1 defeat in 13 between the Rotherham debacle and losing at Sheffield Utd, losing that how we did followed by a 2 week break for International's is what I think knocked the stuffing out of us that season, and 1 win in 9 followed right at the crucial part of the season. Of course 2 or 3 quality additions in Jan might have solved that but we all know what happened there. A huge missed opportunity that season, and personally don't think we will ever get a better shot.

Just a reminder that we haven't scored an injury time winner/equaliser in front of fans since November 2019. Closest since was an 89th minute winner against Swansea in Feb 2023. 86th minute -

Think yesterday conceding so late could be a killer. I'm going for a 0-0 or 1-1 draw. -

That's incorrect. The ticket office is open tomorrow 10-3. Duplicates are printed at Milwall's end ready to collect on the day tomorrow, but you have to ring Rovers first so they can sort it out for you. I know this because I rang them yesterday over the same issue, they told me if they don't arrive today to give them a ring either today or in the morning and they will sort out, luckily though mine came in today's post. -

Away tickets aren't digital. Rovers ticket office opens at 10am tomorrow, give them a call and they will arrange for duplicates to be collected at Milwall tomorrow -

Hedges will be a cheap extension to do is my guess, who will require very little if any uplift in salary in exchange for a couple of years security. Dolan, Trav, Tronstad, Brittain, Hyam, I have zero faith we will be able to tie these up as we won't pay what it would take to do so. -
Blackburn End upper is now available I believe, well N06 and N07 anyway.

I didn't take to him straight away, but could see he was trying to make us more organised and harder to beat to start with so gave him the benefit of the doubt after a while. This season he has set us up superbly so far, especially on this little run. Nothing is achieved in December though, so if we don't finish higher than 7th and get past the Quarter finals of the FA Cup then he can't be considered our best manager under these idiots. Even Mowbray won 6 in a row and kept 5 clean sheets in a row in November/December 2021 so forgive me for not getting too excited just yet.
