  1. I'm not convinced venkys know there own contact details never mind anyone else being able to get hold of them.
  2. We probably do, but for Dack himself its a master stroke. Imagine if he hadn't signed and tried to test the market then this happens. By the time he's back he will only have one season left under contract.
  3. Unless we somehow go up next season of course... More likely he will be competing for a third league one player of the season award if the Coventry clowns are still here though 😔
  4. Realistically then we're probably looking at the opening day of the 22/23 season before he's fully fit and starting again. I'd write next season off to be honest and get himself right before rushing back.
  5. There are 8 league clubs left who haven't played at the new Wembley last time I read. Nottingham Forest and probably Ipswich are the other two stand out names. The others are Port Vale, Oldham, Crawley, Colchester and Accy.
  6. Is it a possibility that clubs will be cautious and not allow away fans in for next season while things are getting back to "normal"? If so then obviously there would be a market to buy away games on ifollow.
  7. Well midweek games will be on the red button again next season anyway i'm guessing. I think it depends if clubs are going to operate on a restricted attendance or not, if so I wouldn't be against it if was only available if the the restricted attendance sold out quickly. If there are no restrictions in place though after June and clubs can operate as normal (which if everything goes to plan I cant see why they couldn't) then its a horrible idea, a real crowd killer.
  8. Yeah I think we can see how the season plays out. We'll get a point against Bristol, a win against Wycombe then another win and a couple of draws in the last 7 games after that. Then it will all be about "we might aswell see who we sign in the summer and how we start next season" Such a deflating time.
  9. Mowbray then basically, I'm guessing this would suit him very much despite what nonsense he comes out with.
  10. Could argue that we have looked the best we have for weeks in the last two games where neither of them started... But yeah we have potentially missed the boat, but if we had someone else in the dugout this season with this squad, even if it was only from January I think we would be a lot closer to those top 6 positions than we are now.
  11. Giving them far too much credit there. If they were to pull the plug one day, are you telling me there isn't anybody out there that could/would take us on? A club of this size and stature? Despite what a lot of Rovers fans seem to think, the club can and will thrive in a world where Tony bloody Mowbray and Venkys have left town.
  12. Give a seasoned manager at this level like a McCarthy a £5m budget with the squad we already had and I don't think we would be far off those top 6 positions at all.
  13. If you go right back to the start of Mowbray's reign here it reads like this.. Games fallen behind: 87 Games won after falling behind: 7
  14. Same game. Him and kean high fived after the first goal I think it was which bought a huge chorus of boo's. Of course the media twisted it that we were booing our own player after he just scored.
  15. Pike has to be worth a look end of this season/next season doesn't he? Can't see Nyambe being here so we might have our replacement already lined up given half a chance.
  16. I was referring to the Jordan Rhodes post that you quoted.
  17. His first season here he played a lot as the lone striker. That was his best season goals wise for us too.
  18. I see no reason to change a winning team. With Mowbray though who knows. Fancy a draw here, 2-2 maybe.
  19. Forgetting that huge point against the mighty Coventry there. Even if we did lose them all though I think covid will have halted Rotherham momentum from the other night, and we'll scrape another few points in our last 6 or so after the international break. It's next season I'm more concerned about really.
  20. Why wouldn't they? Best gig in football at the minute.
  21. Yep it crossed my mind then too, although to be fair it took another 12 months before I had decided for definite that he wasn't the right man. It might have only been the third division, but unless you are one of the elite clubs, how many times do you get to see your team win a league title? It should have been pursued and cherished.
  22. Really good choice as a rep for this message board. I think most of the questions I would like asking have already been mentioned in this thread, looking forward to seeing what the responses are.
  23. Can't wait for the spin at the end of the season. "Well he kept us up, what more do you want? Be realistic FFS"
  24. Remember we drew 1-1 with a rock bottom Blackpool who were miles adrift at Ewood in Feb 2015. It was obvious from that day that we weren't going to achieve anything under Bowyer yet it took them until November to do anything. That season was skewed by a decent cup run. For Mowbray, after the opening day defeat against Charlton last season I knew he was done. The owners are getting slower for me.
  25. Completey agree. My point was that for everyone who seems to think Mowbray is or has been the clubs saviour, he hasn't even achieved what Bowyer has yet.
