  1. It's not been longer. His first injury he was out from December 2019 and made his first team comeback in December 2020. This time he got injured in March 2021 and it's only January 2022, so in reality he is probably a good month or so away from playing for the first team.
  2. Think Rothwell was always a central midfielder to be honest, Mowbray just played him out wide because he didn't really know what to do with him. Also see Armstrong, Brereton, Gallagher, Holtby.
  3. Yeah must have, he's just told me they said it was in the last handful at 9am this morning. Anyway Hull, really intrigued to see the away following on TV tomorrow night as i'll still be surprised if 2500 turn up. After watching the Hull/Stoke game on Sunday, there's no excuse for not taking 3 points here.
  4. There is still a few left, my mate got one this morning.
  5. Unlikely. I think everything points to somebody playing in Europe.
  6. Notice they want another game postponed tomorrow. Sounds like they have given up.
  7. I also think for the sake of £20 that quite a few might have kept hold of them as its an extra ticket on there buying history incase we get someone in the play offs who have a small away allocation or something.
  8. It's because the Premier League have a weekend off on January 29th because of the rearranged South American World Cup qualifiers that are happening then, that along with the AFCON going on it was decided that they would get the last weekend of Jan off, and move the next round of the cup to the first weekend of Feb.
  9. JRC will play left wing back if something happens to Edun in the next couple of weeks.
  10. It used to be £100,000 for every home game moved for TV (which was slightly increased if it was moved to a Sunday or a Thursday) and £10,000 for every away game moved a couple of years ago I read. Not sure if its increased since or not.
  11. Killed a decent away day with WBA. Swansea will probably be behind closed doors anyway. Wonder if this will prompt a creative ticket offer for the QPR game, I wont hold my breath.
  12. Sky have gone nuts with selections for us in Feb... https://www.rovers.co.uk/news/2022/january/11/sky-selections-confirmed/
  13. We were 8th, on 39 points from 26 games when he signed. He played in 19 of the final 20 games for us, and we finished 15th on 57 points. Make of that what you will....
  14. @CheshireRoveris good for a scoop, remember he called the Harvey Elliot deal before anyone else had got wind of it.
  15. I'm sure there are tens of thousands of reasons why he would do that.
  16. I think we'll change most players and go down with a whimper like we usually do in the cup under Mowbray, that and we have a horrible record here. Wigan 2 Rovers 0
  17. Be interesting to see what category the Middlesbrough game is as they usually bring a half decent following, especially when doing well. Should be category C with it now being an evening game, but as its a weekend game that has been moved I think it will be B. If it was still a Saturday no doubt it would have been category A.
  18. Remeber one against Middlesbrough (funnily enough) in our first season down, then again against Cardiff on the opening weekend of the 14-15 season. We also had a non televised one against Rotherham in 2015 because our game the Tuesday afterwards got put to the Monday night for TV. Genuinely can't remember any more Friday night games in this period.
  19. Just a shame that there are no more weekend games at Ewood until 19th Feb.
  20. Nearly 7000 home match day tickets bought for today's game by the looks of it. Nothing like a winning team eh.
  21. I'm not sure that will play into the clubs decision should a huge bid come in for him to be honest 😆
  22. I imagine there's loads left. Rovers fans have been notorious for buying late though when there is no rush to buy a ticket, hopefully a good result tomorrow will spur on sales closer to Saturday. Hopefully make it pay on the day too.
