  1. In what way has Johnson been pivotal this season? Offers a bit of experience in a side lacking it, but to say he’s had more of an impact than Dolan, Khadra or Rothwell, don’t get the logic.
  2. Bit of common sense down there. Hallelujah
  3. Though saying that, even though the club was stating Blackpool would be Cat A to try and push floating fans towards that shite Final 5 bundle. I’m sure I spotted the big screen last night showing prices for it starting at £25, so Cat B. Which would be the best you could hope for considering there will be a sizeable away contingent Swag will want to fleece…
  4. Personally think a few of you are looking far too deeply into Mowbray just being his usual fairly strange self (no surprises as some on here have totally lost the plot in regards to TM). He’s often had a face like a smacked arse, even after a win. He’s a pretty arrogant fella and has obviously had his nose put out of joint by whatever went on at half time. But so what? That’s part and parcel of the game, a feisty dressing room is no bad thing, we are at the business end now and I’m glad to see the players still want it.
  5. I was feeling elated walking up Livesey Branch Road, as was everybody else bouncing up the hill… then I read this thread. TM ain’t the only ‘odd’ one.
  6. Mercer, body language expert too now 😏
  7. And if you can’t make night games, you don’t pay £20. The next two weekend games are priced £30-£36. Is that affordable or good value for this level of football?
  8. It sure was. ‘The SAS’ became a phenomenon in those early months of 94/95, it is just probably slightly forgotten that Sutton started the season like a train and then the goals dried up in the second half of the season (now what modern parallels can we draw 🤔)
  9. In 94/95 he scored just two goals from late November until the end of the season. In 95/96 he scored zero (though missed a lot of games through injury). His goals started flowing again in 96/97 and 97/98 after Shearer left…
  10. Of course, a front two that will go down in history, but in reality the SAS was only really a thing for one season. And even in that fabled season Sutton lost form in the run-in.
  11. The new stadium is still in early stages of development and with all the Usmanov issues, who know when it will be completed. So a few more seasons at Woodison yet…
  12. A toggle through the seasons on here says there’s definitely something in the ‘Ayala Winter Break’ we were warned about… https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/daniel-ayala/leistungsdaten/spieler/78966/plus/0?saison=2015
  13. Hang on ,so there aren’t any ‘marginal gains’ to be had by moving 500 away fans from the lower tier to the upper?!
  14. Lost thousands more ST holders over the last couple of years, crowds have therefore stayed fairly low. The end.
  15. ‘Great appointment’, ‘fans are over the moon’, I was told when I doubted a man with an average record (at best) and zero experience of relegation battles was the right man for the job…
  16. Have you recently awoken from a 25 year coma, Nuttall?
  17. Chaddy in everybody should think just like him shocker…
  18. Oh aye. I personally know a half dozen long term Rovers fans that now pitch up at Accy.
  19. Bring a friend for a standard game in March, in the middle of a horror run was never going to work. A bundle in one tier of one stand for consecutive Saturday’s would not get more than hundreds. This Final Five makes absolutely no sense, one of the five was covered already by a tenner ticket if you could co-ordinate with a ST holder and one is a night game that struggles for walk ons anyway, plus it works out at £24 a ticket in the JW! Much more expensive than a half ST and miles more so if you can’t make just one, which of course, plenty of floating fans won’t be able to make - that’s why they pick their games in the first place and don’t just buy a ST. It’s really very simple - sell a ST, a half ST, even a ‘Quarter ST’ to get as many as possible signed up for a potential renewal for next season. Then pick a game in the actual run in - I.e Stoke on Easter Monday or the final home game against Bournemouth and make it a tenner, anywhere in the ground - no strings. This isn’t hindsight as I said what would happen as soon as they went on sale. If I can see it on my zero pounds a year, why can’t highly paid executives use past evidence and act accordingly? *enter that overused Einstein quote here*.
  20. In NO1 they have encyclopaedic knowledge of Dingle FC alumni, literally anybody who has even played 5 minutes as a sub at T’turf, in say 2011, gets the treatment, most impressive…
  21. ‘So bring a friend’ failed… if only they’d tried it before so would know… oh they have!
  22. First 3pm Saturday at Ewood for three months… worked out well that splurge of Sky games 🤦‍♂️
  23. Do I think that some on here are a bit OTT re Mowbray? Yes. But it isn’t close to what that scumbag got on here and to say it’s ‘more hostile’ for TM on brfcs than what Ke*n copped is a ridiculous thing to say.
