  1. Can't afford to have Sky Sports on in Blues Bar but happy to turn down potentially thousands of ticket sales. Make it make sense 🤷‍♂️
  2. ‘Overwhelmingly united’… hmm, not sure about that.
  3. Like I said I don’t remember that, but my point was more the atmosphere, I don’t recall a crowd being like that against a manager throughout a game for a long time, even when we scored.
  4. Yes it is ironic that those that call us ‘negative’ are the ones with such a negative view of Blackburn Rovers and what it could be.
  5. Still a very sizeable number within Ewood too of that mindset, don’t let the chants fool anybody.
  6. Not sure about that, ‘sort it out’ definitely, but not ‘sacked in the morning’. But regardless, long time since a manager has seen Ewood turn.
  7. ‘But, but crowds’’ ‘Bury’, ‘20 million a year!’
  8. Main reason being we’ve sold fewer STs to start with, thousands of the Holders we have left aren’t bothering and we are selling fewer walk-ons due to poor results and expensive pricing… ergo it leads to the depressing sight that was the Blackburn End on Saturday (a lower tier of which, by the way, that had been pretty full for a good number of years pre this season).
  9. Then why hasn’t it happened? Campaigning journalism was bread and butter to local papers for decades, not any more - they get clicks or they die and the Editor/publisher obviously doesn’t want to take the financial risk that having no access to the club long term would bring.
  10. Unfortunately the local press is now on life support and the football club of their patch is one of the only drivers of clicks (and ergo advertising income) left, so no chance they’ll go after the regime.
  11. Obviously means nothing here but pretty sure that’s the first time I’ve heard an explicit chant for a manager sacking from a Rovers crowd for nearly 9 years.
  12. You will never convince that sizeable percentage of the fanbase, there’s always a reason why we can’t compare and it’s Venky’s or liquidation. This time it’s because Sheff Wed ‘have a much bigger fanbase’. ‘’We’ll be a Bury’… yes, we certainly will be when that’s who we are playing, still under this regime, in five/six years time.
  13. Goals scored? Wins? Outdated metrics those.
  14. Of course I wasn’t comparing their levels of nefariousness, this fella is just some non entity soaking up one last, well paid gig at this level wholly on his bosses terms - but purely from the perspective of parroting the regime’s pathetically transparent stream of falsehoods in pressers, there are parallels.
  15. It’s the outlandish-ness of the lies (just like Ke*n). You can still be a lackey without coming out with clearly incredulous stuff - I.e you deflect like; ‘yes, we have brought in new lads, they are learning, but I see their quality every day’ ‘I am convinced we will turn the corner’ blah blah blah. Don’t just flat bat it saying everything is great, absurd and just invites ridicule… not that there’s ever any feelings of shame or embarrassment within this regime.
  16. If you keep your trap shut you get rewarded for a substantial amount of time… look no further than the fella in the dugout for proof of that.
  17. He isn’t delusional at all. He won’t believe it for a minute but this is how he is protecting his position with Suh-stede.
  18. He does, and believes we go into admin, we end up bust as nobody would be interested… and there’s plenty where he came from.
  19. Looking at their forum, their fans are delighted, the recovery starts now, discussing potential bidders… woukd never happen here, of course, it’s Venky’s or liquidation according to a big chunk of the fanbase.
  20. He should get a data job down Brockhall, they all work to that metric.
  21. Can’t say I’ve seen many goals this season but even the ones I have it has been verging on polite applause from me. Not because my passion for Blackburn Rovers as a ‘thing’ is waning, the opposite, it’s just a visceral dislike of what the regime is providing - no pressure to achieve and the resulting poor players with a poor manager in a soulless, decaying ground. The soul of BRFC now resides elsewhere and we need to fight for it, unfortunately that won’t happen with the Ewood attendees, so it’s Glen’s campaigns or it’s nothing.
  22. Pretty much every division in England from the top flight into deep non-league has send attendances boom this past decade… spot the outlier club.
  23. Suhail sorting out a no fly zone as we speak .
