  1. Yes, all fans have a choice and as Millwall will bring about 300 their choice will have been not to come… but hey, there’s 7 games on the red button, so who cares about the two thirds empty ground.
  2. Most Millwall fans live in the outer London boroughs these days (likes of Bromley) and into Kent, an absolute faff trying to get to Blackburn for half 12… still, just get a hotel ay.
  3. How does being the 7th game kicking off at half 12 buried through the red button give you ‘exposure’? That’s no material difference than a midweek being behind the red button, I don’t recall ‘exposure’ being the buzzword then. So no actual rationale but just parroting EFL/Sky PR, sounds about right.
  4. Nope, you have still never explained the rationale for seven games at half 12 (the clubs wanting more cash is why the deal itself was signed, that’s not an explanation to the seven games at half 12, so please can you answer that directly and not do your usual routine of deflection and tangents).
  5. Not smiling with his teeth showing either… 👀
  6. It was a bar full of historic Rovers pictures until the club/Sodexho removed the vast majority… presumably because they ruin the aesthetic for Liverpool Legends nights.
  7. His BS won’t cut much ice up there https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/articles/crlz4y36jwko
  8. On what grounds is it acceptable that a member of staff who joins, say, a month later than somebody else has to pay to park on their work car park? Can't even imagine what the morale must be like at all levels of the club.
  9. And still half the fanbase would applaud it: 'Do you how much Sky costs?' 'Do you know how much food gets wasted every game?' 'Why shouldn't staff pay for parking, even nurses do at hospitals'
  10. He’ll dazzle many a club hierarchy with this claptrap. Smart lad.
  11. Temp staff, often youngsters doing a Saturday job… and they are being charged £15 to park on their workplace carpark?! Cheers, Tony, new day, new snippet of farce emanating from the regime.
  12. ‘When you're 2-0 down after seven minutes, tactics don't come into it’
  13. I thought Sodexho was responsible for Blues too… as that certainly was how Swag et al tried to avoid responsibility for the Liverpool Legends night held in there. ’We knew nothing about it, honest, we’ve outsourced’.
  14. It’s the kind of thing that would even raise your eyebrow if you heard about it at a Darwen or Clitheroe FC. I mean, Blackburn Rovers and it can’t even pay the Sky bill… everything Jack built and we are now back to Bobby Saxton fishing the spare balls out the River Darwen levels… yet with billionaire owners.
  15. Presumably when they went to cancel, Sky did their customary price drop offer… and said offer was still too expensive 😬
  16. Never made clear what we are actually transitioning to… apart from the lower leagues.
  17. What’s your view on our owners, Parson? (That’s our owners, not other clubs’).
  18. I’d spotted on Twitter that Jackson had been tweeted to re the Blues Bar issue. Now, maybe I’ve watched too many films, but surely any journo worth his salt will be thinking - ‘Club that almost got in the PL play offs less than four months ago has voluntarily relegated it’s women’s side to playing clubs that sound like Soccerdome five a side teams, now they don’t even have Sky Sports showing in their, err, sports bar… there’s a thread here.
  19. Presume they mean the Iley era and other grumbles against Bancroft et al... not exactly the first scene of Gladiator, was it.
  20. Yep, if the NFL about to implode? Of course not, and neither is the Premier League... what future the wider pyramid has is another issue.
  21. No chance young Merce was on the pitch, he’d have been well ensconced in the Nuttall Street or Riverside upper tier.
  22. Good job scouts don’t turn up for the last fifteen minutes.
  23. Lots more TV games as the clubs (but in the end the players and agents ) wanted more cash. Yep, all agreed. But seven games at half 12 on a Saturday, why? (No deflections please, specifically answer the question about seven games at half 12).
  24. Guess what our wages will be higher than turnover in League One too… presumably we shouldn’t expect to compete there either.
