  1. Spotted there will only be two meetings during the entirety of this upcoming season… no surprises there!
  2. No you don’t. So like folk said (and you of course disagreed with) they very much do (or should I say, did, treat the FF as mugs, as ridiculous statements like ‘nobody knew Wharton was going to be a good player’ from Suhail proves.
  3. So you agree with Suhail, nobody knew he was going to be a good player, Masher? I presume you don’t as you have eyes, so do you now take back your comment that the club do not take the FF for mugs? Exhibit A in my paragraph above.
  4. ‘Nobody knew he’d be a good player when he was at youth level’… made his first start for the first team at 18, played for England under 19s a month later.
  5. Exactly that. The Gooner was almost crowing that they’ve pulled off higher revenue with lower sales.
  6. Listen to Reg, spot on, as always: One of the best stadiums in the EFL. Which is incidentally kept in pristine condition in all areas. Ewood Park stadium is a credit to our owners, no financial cut backs to our iconic ground, well kept and maintained.
  7. End of the day why is this thread titled like it is? Because that’s generally been the remit of the FF. The club have tried to manoeuvre the FF in to being the group that covers all consultation with the club, and they were getting away with it too. So all power to Glen et al for using their conniving and pathetic shenanigans against them.
  8. Many of us on here wouldn’t, but there is still a sizeable fanbase that would pour through the gates if they just sorted themselves out… but they won’t, so they won’t.
  9. Wait for the usual suspect to tell us that couldn’t possibly improve gates here because half a dozen folk on brfcs say they are boycotting.
  10. The regime isn’t half as clever as they think they are. They thought stripping all fan engagement down to one forum, a forum that historically has been more retail focused (and where they’ve had a measure of control over the proceedings and output) would keep them off the hook … well, guess what, as a voluntary forum that anybody is free to join, the awkward squad from the groups you’ve excluded will just find their way into it anyway and said control is now lost. Never mind ay, Pasha.
  11. £15million for Tyler Morton. Nowt wrong with the price though, ay. I mean, think of the U21 caps…
  12. Ah well. The 175th Anniversary at the Anchor Ground might have a few fireworks set off from the car park.
  13. The FF worked well when it was two sets of people across the table pulling in the same direction. Issues like the price of pies really were the most concerning thing on the day as the likes of John Williams were trusted to get on with the macro stuff. Now both sides aren’t pulling in the same direction and the FF are being expected to pull the regime up on all kinds of strategic stuff it was never intended for when it set up in more simpler times. The FF hasn’t changed, the club has. It’s somehow ended up in this position by default as the last forum standing. Ergo other supporter consultations (I.e the ones they quietly dropped around Covid) need bringing back ASAP, and the FF can go back to its modus operandi, I.e the lower level retail stuff - of course they won’t bring them back as this set up works perfectly fine for the regime.
  14. So if you beat a team in a friendly one week it’s a ‘good win’… get beat the week after in another friendly and you aren’t allowed to say the opposite as you overreacting. Fair enough.
  15. They’ve been filming the first team pissing about, what more do you want?
  16. Obviously actually getting runs consistently isn’t important anymore as Pope and Crawley’s average tell you. Fair enough, but don’t expect to be the world’s top Test side, as either there’s nobody better or they are happy enough if Crawley gets the side off to a strong start every few games but then out for between 0 and 25 the rest of the time.
  17. Still waiting to hear how social media videos with the players and streams of friendlies on YouTube shows any kind of comms improvement/is something to praise a Championship club for?
  18. Of course there are good people working at Rovers (my own brother in law for one, who’s just left by the way as it’s a horrendously run organisation, so he’s got himself a much more stable job where he feels valued). We are talking about the regime executive leadership, obviously.
  19. He’s been here 14 months. Not taken him long to get on board with the complete BS that emanates from this regime.
  20. So social media posts and YouTube streams of friendlies- how is that any different than any other season or any other club at this level for that matter? Just the very basic stuff a Championship club should be doing, it doesn’t even need referring to, is your bar for the people running Blackburn Rovers really that low? (It’s a rhetorical question BTW)
  21. Fair play to you Mike. You tried your damnedest for the betterment of Blackburn Rovers in good faith… that sentence being the exact opposite of what the modus operandi of the regime is.
  22. Only 31, I mean, what’s that in the modern game? Very sad.
  23. We know what happens from Christmas, so the season the good starts stop I think it’s pretty obvious what happens next. So yeah, three points please 😬
