  1. I think the official attendance figures will still tell the story as fans will have had to have made an actual decision to buy one this summer on the back of last season’s ridiculous number of moves - if they still have, but don’t come to half 12 KOs, so what? The clubs would say, money in the bank from you and Sky, ta very much.
  2. End of the day the proof of the pudding will be ST sales (and attendances in general) across the division. My gut feel is the clubs have got away with it.
  3. Is it clear that it is kick off times that are actually putting folk off? By the time they go off sale in September we’ll be around last figures total. The main reason we will be down at all (couple of hundred probably) is more the debacle around March time as they went on sale (as roverblue alludes to), plus whacking them up 50 quid. We’ll see across the Championship this season if ST and match day ticket sales are actually down. Maybe they will be a bit, maybe they won’t at all. If not, the clubs have got away with their greed as the fans have just taken it and opened their collective wallets regardless.

  5. What’s that? The non-existent boycott?
  6. You are confusing brfcs with the actual fanbase again.
  7. Yes I expect these kinds of sales too… doesn’t mean they are anything but appalling.
  8. So another summer of appalling ST sales it is… but least they’ve sold some kits (before they run out of stock for months, apart from infants as they now don’t stock them to start with).
  9. We didn’t even reach 7,000 in the summer of 2021/22… nothing stopping us hitting that level (and below) again in future seasons.
  10. Post back to back Euro wins feel good vibes at Clitheroe FC for the big game against Norton & Stockton Ancients.
  11. Sales around the same… but with higher prices? Bonuses all round 💰
  12. Of course, Sky want to fill their schedule and sell subscriptions. The clubs took the cash without giving fans a second thought. It’s on them.
  13. It’s been like this for ever guys, so get over it.
  14. Hang on, so they want to focus on BwD (why, it's an arbitrarily drawn border from 1974, what possible relevance does that have to modern fanbases, but anyway)... but they don't even know what postcodes are in BwD to start with? What an absolute bloody rabble they are down there, beggars belief they actually try to masquerade as professionals, as 'Head of' this, 'Head of' that. Complete joke from top to bottom.
  15. Indeed. They are just very lucky to be situated where they are. As a reminder there’s as many league clubs between a handful of junctions of the M65 as there is in the whole north east of England.
  16. The regime will do always do what is needed to keep their nose out of trouble and the media from sniffing around, they’ve done that since day dot… it’s why you’ll never see a Sheff Wed situation here and it’s why they’ll do whatever the bare minimum is to adhere to this legislation too
  17. So like I said, M_B, it won’t happen here, not that it wouldn’t be a great option for fans here. Yes, I’m aware what a flexi ticket is, was merely listing different ticket options released during a season. We won’t be seeing a flexi ticket to pick and choose games (I.e the option to now drop the inconvenient ones like a stone) offered in the summer next to a full ST, it’s as simple as that.
  18. Every time we see all these knickers getting in a collective twist. It’s VenkyRovers, of course there will be a song and dance over them one way or another. You can’t expect anything else. Personally speaking, having to wait an extra week or so to read the standard disingenuous claptrap from Waggott Suhail makes no odds.
  19. I know they did, that’s when we had this discussion last time. I.e. during the season, during, like they do with bundles, half STs and all the rest of it. They just aren’t going to offer it as an alternative option in the summer for the entire upcoming season for the reason I outlined. That doesn’t mean I and many other ST holders wouldn’t snap their hand off for one if it was offered… and that’s why they don’t, and won’t .
  20. Not were you were told. Everybody agreed it would work a treat for fans. What you were actually told was the club wouldn’t offer it as it would cannibalise full ST sales and lead to a complete collapse in midweek crowds… and guess what they haven’t offered it.
  21. Lad released from PNE after playing at Clitheroe, grafted his arse off to become a regular in the Championship from 20, now playing in La Liga at 23… still, ‘big head’, ‘League 1’ player, or something .
  22. Just standard strange behaviour from a strange football club.
  23. Textbook stakeholder management and comms though 👌
  24. Looked a cracking turnout the other day (my dad’s there… not jealous at all).
  25. Plus it’s opening home day, so they know they’ll still get more home fans than a game a few weeks later. Don’t like it? Tough, we’ll be coining it in from Brum regardless.
