  1. The only manager that has ever used Gallagher properly was Coyle.
  2. No arguments there, how many players have come in and out of this club since 2012? And how many have actually left any kind of positive impression on your memory?
  3. He was also down to be Chief Ball Fisher for when we were back at Pleasy post them flogging off Brockhall.
  4. End of the day that’s footballers for you. Just like Chaddy, they’ve moved on immediately and the king is dead, long live the king. If removing a manager is all it’s taken for them to stop sulking, fine, just get some results. It’s why I don’t particularly get attached to them. It’s a transactional relationship both ways.
  5. Remember around Covid when the area around the JW Stand was an absolute shit tip and he tried to weasel out of even just getting someone to walk round with a bin bag ‘as it is not strictly on our estate’.
  6. First item on the agenda £800 STs for those ingrates on the Blackburn End.
  7. The one in the Riverside stayed for the duration. Largely positive reaction, and at least the ones near me who would previously have been all ‘just get behind the lads FFS’, ‘who else we gonna get to buy us’ kept largely quiet. That’s a big change from even a few months ago.
  8. There’s a bit of a blinker mentality with your own players, ‘he’s crap’, ‘he’s not good enough’. Well compared to the players we saw before this lot darkened our doors, Dolan, as an example, is obviously not close to their level, but he’s well at home in the Championship, so is good enough for the level he/we are playing at. Outside the parachute clubs most players don’t stand out as anything special (and that’s why Adam Wharton did like a sore thumb) so they spend their careers down here and as clubs don’t have the funds to get ones that are any better there’s a shitload of them across the league.
  9. Rapid avatar change there, Chadster. The king is dead, long live the king
  10. Weaker R in Preston. It’s a strong accent in Burnley, but it’s not as rhotic as the Blackburn one. More ‘down the stay-ers’, ‘over they-er’ than the ‘overrr therrre’ of a Blackburn accent.
  11. It’s Cheston about to retire, isn’t it?
  12. Good for Belgium, but it obviously isn’t something that is going to be followed through with here, nothing ever is.
  13. I jest, just amuses me all this ‘he plays the 6 role’, what like Bobby Moore?
  14. Yeah think Dozzell scored down there actually, think he set one up for Kiwomya, good front 2 for this level.
  15. You’re telling me, busiest row on the ground, mine. They come late, go for some nat’s piss on about 25 minutes, come back on about 60, leave on 85. A dear ST becomes even dearer pro rata for that lot.
  16. Remember Andre’s dad putting the final nail in Don Mackay’s coffin, he was sacked in the morning, from memory.
  17. Just wait for it to ‘slip out’ - “On the advice of the club security team it was deemed prudent for Steve and Ian not to be in their usual seats”. Cue ‘not Waggott’s biggest fan but disgusting from the fans that it led to that’ on the LT comments etc. Desperate Steve playing his final cards.
  18. Elliot Jackson should be paying BRFCS for a subscription.
  19. All that guff about ‘a set playing style at every level of the club’ was just that. TM was different to JDT and Eustace will be different again. Football is far too fluid a sport on and off the pitch, especially in the Championship for that to be a long term reality. ‘Everyone has a plan until they get punched in the mouth’.
  20. Looking at their forum largely they thought they played pretty well on Friday, didn’t look like that to me. So maybe an insight to just how poor they were under Wazza.
  21. Fanbases are very herd like. Post L1 there was a consensus that ‘well, we are stuck with them, they pay the bills, what you going to do?’ and that stayed steady until the dam broke slightly with a few murmurings a month a so or ago and now after weeks of total farce it’s broke completely and it’s almost 2012 like in the ground again. The genie is out the bottle now, Steve.
