  1. Sales around the same… but with higher prices? Bonuses all round 💰
  2. Of course, Sky want to fill their schedule and sell subscriptions. The clubs took the cash without giving fans a second thought. It’s on them.
  3. It’s been like this for ever guys, so get over it.
  4. Hang on, so they want to focus on BwD (why, it's an arbitrarily drawn border from 1974, what possible relevance does that have to modern fanbases, but anyway)... but they don't even know what postcodes are in BwD to start with? What an absolute bloody rabble they are down there, beggars belief they actually try to masquerade as professionals, as 'Head of' this, 'Head of' that. Complete joke from top to bottom.
  5. Indeed. They are just very lucky to be situated where they are. As a reminder there’s as many league clubs between a handful of junctions of the M65 as there is in the whole north east of England.
  6. The regime will do always do what is needed to keep their nose out of trouble and the media from sniffing around, they’ve done that since day dot… it’s why you’ll never see a Sheff Wed situation here and it’s why they’ll do whatever the bare minimum is to adhere to this legislation too
  7. So like I said, M_B, it won’t happen here, not that it wouldn’t be a great option for fans here. Yes, I’m aware what a flexi ticket is, was merely listing different ticket options released during a season. We won’t be seeing a flexi ticket to pick and choose games (I.e the option to now drop the inconvenient ones like a stone) offered in the summer next to a full ST, it’s as simple as that.
  8. Every time we see all these knickers getting in a collective twist. It’s VenkyRovers, of course there will be a song and dance over them one way or another. You can’t expect anything else. Personally speaking, having to wait an extra week or so to read the standard disingenuous claptrap from Waggott Suhail makes no odds.
  9. I know they did, that’s when we had this discussion last time. I.e. during the season, during, like they do with bundles, half STs and all the rest of it. They just aren’t going to offer it as an alternative option in the summer for the entire upcoming season for the reason I outlined. That doesn’t mean I and many other ST holders wouldn’t snap their hand off for one if it was offered… and that’s why they don’t, and won’t .
  10. Not were you were told. Everybody agreed it would work a treat for fans. What you were actually told was the club wouldn’t offer it as it would cannibalise full ST sales and lead to a complete collapse in midweek crowds… and guess what they haven’t offered it.
  11. Lad released from PNE after playing at Clitheroe, grafted his arse off to become a regular in the Championship from 20, now playing in La Liga at 23… still, ‘big head’, ‘League 1’ player, or something .
  12. Just standard strange behaviour from a strange football club.
  13. Textbook stakeholder management and comms though 👌
  14. Looked a cracking turnout the other day (my dad’s there… not jealous at all).
  15. Plus it’s opening home day, so they know they’ll still get more home fans than a game a few weeks later. Don’t like it? Tough, we’ll be coining it in from Brum regardless.
  16. Wonder how many loans he’ll have had by 25… modern football, ay
  17. Oh, so he doesn’t watch all football apart from when it’s on TNT after all…
  18. It take it the women’s football is on TNT?
  19. Probably will, first home game and all that. Though it will soon drop off for a standard game at those ridiculous prices.
  20. Exactly, if it wasn't for Wrexham not a single game would be particularly close to selling out before general sale, so why do we need a convoluted point system? Week for ST holders, then general sale like it always was.
  21. A 'pointless' system for a club that very very rarely (Dingles aside) sells an away game out before general sale.
  22. The 1875 Club was only ever used for a quick exploitative cash in on loyal fans with FOMO for a ticket to that lot down the M65. They had zero interest in utilising it for anything productive.
  23. Not sure it's just pay on the day now, if you are an older fan that wanted to buy one in the ticket office at any time you'd be charged a premium to do so.
  24. He did deserve to be treated like royalty though, to be fair 🤴
  25. Up to £35 to £37 (or £38 to £40 if you actually had the temerity of buying it from the ticket office) for a second division game, against Birmingham.
