Bayern’s dominance is nothing to do with fan ownership, German football has always had a version of fan management. Bayern are dominating this past few years because of CL money and the globalisation of the game promoting big brands - like Juventus and Real Madrid/Barca

All this about ‘dynamic play’, ‘front foot’, wide strikers, ‘dominating the ball’ and all the rest of it. But three and a half years on, we are still at our best with Graham as a focal point. Just a shame his career at this level is winding down as he is still the main man as far as I’m concerned.

Pretty much every other club has had them on sale for months. With thousands sold and millions in the bank for those clubs at a time when cash flow is vital. Our cash flow on the other hand will be pretty much zero. Who has the right approach Chaddy? Rovers, who have to get everything signed off late in the summer in an annual meeting halfway across the world, or pretty much every other Championship club who have proactively engaged their supporters and got them and their cash signed up early?

Get out if it! There’s loads of Man Utd/Liverpool fans in Wigan, which you’ll know all too well living there, which is unsurprising as they were a non league club until the 80s and are unfortunately in the same boat as the other clubs in ‘Greater Manchester’.
