Tough it was a Carling Cup 4th round game, as that 3rd goal went in I lost it more than I have done for a long time, as did Stuwiliky as he came bounding down 4 rows of seats to me! We were out of the game completely at 2-0 until a Hughes masterstroke with the subs came along. Brilliant comeback and a brilliant atmosphere. Just brilliant.

I do not accept that one bit. Wigan's gates have jumped from around 7thousand home fans a game last season to around 16 thousand in one summer. Wigan are at their all time peak and still can't attract more home fans than Rovers. It is not sustainable. Rovers have had over 15thousand home fans for nearly 15 years.

By the way Jim I this myth about Burnley's gates being so impressive in the 60s and 70s has now been blown away by a new segment in the Times on Monday's that picks a top division Saturday from yesteryear, showing scores and gates. Every home gate of Burnley's in that period has been sub 20k. Cup games maybe but not on a regular basis.

I'm now glad we did'nt get more tickets. Bad enough that 1700 of us had to watch it!

I cannot state enough that BRISA is working extremely harmoniously considering how much we are trying to get through and the varying opinions being expressed. People have to get to grips with the fact that this is an INTERIM period, I feel it would be unwise to set up an elected committee at this stage because nobody really has an idea of how much work is involved (if I sound like a Soviet dictator promising free and fair elections at some distant point, I apologise!). I would all hope that we all want BRISA to to be a success, so instead of petty squabbles and political point scoring why don't we all have a bit of patience and get behind the project at this challenging but also very exciting time.

My view on PES5 is mixed. Plus point is it is now easier to score long shots, but I just find it too slow, I played PES4 straight after and it is blinding fast in comparison.

We criticise them when they don't perfom, quite rightly after some debacles. But when they play like that there is no other team like England, the pace and passion was superb. Truely great football match. Bring on the World Cup. ps what a site the England fans were as the 3rd crashed in. What a moment!

I don't agree with that. The Riverside hasnt been 'virtually full' all season, percentage wise I would say the JW lower (the bit that would be visible on the TV) is more full.

I did'nt get a ticket, I havent missed a game in 3 years. 3 hours too late. Talking to JW At the Ewood Blues meeting, sales were very slow before the Charlton game and we sold 1000 on monday! In a way I'm bitterly dissapointed but I'm also bloody delighted fans are clambouring for tickets again. I will be there one way or another!

That's about 450 more than they usually bring, they win 5 away games on the trot and they are all jumping on the bandwagon!

What the hell are all you lot all talking about? I thought in the latter days of Souness he was struggling as were all the players, but he is a top class goalkeeper and pro, one of the best in the Premiership. Money should not be thrown away on bringing in a keeper or should he be replaced by the other third rate goalies at the club.

Very proud of the lads yesterday. Travelling back I was in great spirits. If we play like that against most sides we will win a hell of a lot of matches. Lampard and Essien (I thought they were outstanding) aside we matched most of their players. Also, very impressive following considering,a full bottom tier and a decent number upstairs.

Very much so. Hope people didnt think I hogged the mike (I was the one with the supid hair cut, according to our esteemed chairman!), my mates seemed to place me as group spokesman! Great night.

By the way, Chelsea fans are expecting more of our 'carve up' tactics. 'Dirty Northern .......?' Funny how we are such a disgusting side, yet they are hoping for Essien to be 'unleashed' and wish Wise was playing to sort us out. Is there a club in world football that makes you sick more? Spolit, arrogant Jonny come lately fans, rip off owners. BRING IT ON!

How interesting that the 'meaningless' Carling Cup is a sell out for Chelsea fans at 20quid a ticket and a game in the 'world's best league' is not.

I'm going, thanks to the great gesture of Ewood Blues who have heavily discounted the coach cost to make up for the robbing Russian. Now I know how the Russian government felt when he poached all its natural resources for a song.

'Larwo's' anti-roversism gets funnier by the week. How are Everton as likely to get a draw against a rampant Chelsea as we are against a struggling Brum. If I added up the points he predicts for us through a season, think we'd just about hit the 20 mark!

My view on it is that the 'bic clubs' will have even less 3pm games. If you are say ratings obsessed ITV and you get the 5th choice game, Man Utd v Charlton would be their pick, just because of the viewing figures.

I am getting sick and tired of the constant bashing of our fans after every away game. If you combine your vocal fans, slightly moronic fans, 'PC' fans, quiet fans, those who like standing and those who like sitting in two and a half blocks of one stand instead of being spread across the ground, of course different opinions of the support will emerge. That's just how it is.

As a member of the 'steering group' (and not on the Fans Forum) I personally don't see the conflict of interest. Both groups want the best for the club, I would rather have a FF with BRISA steering group members, as I know how dedicated they are and the hours they put in for the Rovers cause. Do we want a FF full of JW controlled stooges (though some say this is already the case!) or a forum with members we know we can trust?

Just had a quick look at the clips, Liverpool fans annoy me at the best of times, but after a night like that FOUR months ago, the fact I have heard calls on Century, TalkSport and Radio5 telling Benitez to go speaks volumes! The word fickle does'nt do it justice!

I hope not I'm going to get mine this afternoon!
