India would still have batted first had they won the toss.
They deserved to lose then.

Australia won this at the toss today, completely different conditions batting second.
But all credit to them, at 43/3 it looked a difficult task but Travis Head was outstanding.
Well done Australia, beating India, in India in a final, you deserve the trophy.

It will be a close run thing. I’m impressed by the number of shirts the Indian fans have bought mind.
Puts the Geordies to shame!

India on the ropes in the final. Can’t wait for the Aussies to win on India’s home turf.
Making heavy weather of this India, ball moving around, it’ll not be easy for Aussies.

It’s a bit like saying Bryan Douglas can’t play football anymore. The guy was brilliant in his day, nothing is forever.
It’s nothing like saying Bryan Douglas can’t play football anymore…..
I could name plenty of song writers that were/are still writing good songs into older age, McCartney hasn’t written a decent song in decades.

In which case all discussion should have ceased after someone said Lennon-McCartney!
When was the last time McCartney wrote a decent song? He certainly can't sing anymore.

What is this Friday night England game stuff all about?
Do they not know what decisions like this mean? Blokes around the country are today being dragged to towns and cities Christmas shopping? Instead of settling down to watch England with a cold beer?
Not me of course, I rule the roost in this house..........
See you in Sheffield at around 1pm 🙄 I'll be the one looking miserable trying to persuade the Mrs I do have some Welsh blood - Armenia V Wales 2pm!

Think I'm right in thinking Benson is our set piece coach. For feck's sake, is it little wonder we show such little imagination and score so few goals from set pieces. Benson has never played professional football, started off in Carlisle's community program and is now not only our goalkeeping coach but also our set piece 'specialist'. It simply beggars belief and, IMO, Benson should not be anywhere near such roles in a Championship club and is a man at least 100 fathoms out of his depth.
What has Benson, our goalkeeping coach, done to you Mercer? Run over your cat?
You've been throwing this cr@p out for years now, you even got a few on the hook a while back until Kaminski credited him with pushing his career forward and his impact on Rayas career needs no introduction.
Now you THINK he's our set piece coach 🤣
Give over man, hope you're well by the way 👍

A fitting tribute supported from all side of the ground as Miller says above, the fans did Birdy proud last night, well done everyone, I sure his family will have appreciated that in this difficult time.

I don't mind admitting in, I'm in full SULK mode this morning, if she asks me if we can go to the bloody garden centre one more time, its winter FFS!
I'll just add, I love watching this side, I don't like seeing us get beat, but they're an exciting side to watch and this manager is special, can we keep him........
Onwards and upwards.

Speaking of scams; BBC: Bankman-Fried found guilty of fraud
Crypto exchange founder Sam Bankman-Fried was found guilty of fraud yesterday. He's going to spend a long time in jail.
I won't touch crypto with a 10 foot pole. I have a mate who is well into it. His take is that it's like playing with fire, and unless you know what you are doing you'll get burnt.
Can’t disagree with any of that.
If your mate is well into crypto, he could have free money waiting for him based on my original post that opened this thread.
Let him know @speeeeeeedie if he owns ERC20 coins he’ll be quids in.
