Fair play gents, much the same as usual then.....

Go on then I'll bite.........
In every walk of life these days we use digital, from tax returns, to pensions, to airline tickets, holidays in Benidorm, brfcs forum, car parking, cinema, restaurants, even my elderly parents use digital, why such a furore over a match against Cambridge in 3rd round FA Cup?
Disclaimer - I haven't read all the thread, so apologies if I'm missing the main point,

Fix....😤
Another member of this very parish was moaning at me he didn't win, "I never win anything" I then explained you had to be a subscriber, "Oh" was the response 🤣
I'll put it down to that long trek to Southampton at the weekend, the numpty!

Plenty of calls for Kompany to go by all accounts, let’s hope they grow louder by the week. Extra tickets given to Everton last night as the locals didn’t fancy it too.
We are Premiership 😂

Safe trip home everyone, all 1300 of you are a credit to the club. I salute you.

Met up with some friends in Covent Garden last week in a standard Nicholson's pub - so nice but not somewhere particularly premium or anything. £7.50 a pint!
Spent many hours on football trips in Maxwells in Covent Garden, so much so I'm sure I must own shares in the place!

Paul Simon on Sky Arts right now, his 2012 appearance at Hyde Park, superb stuff.
Absolute genius, imagine writing Bridge over troubled waters?

Wharton answers Blackburn Rovers release clause question | Lancashire Telegraph
Seems theres to no release clause.
His agent wouldn’t be doing his job properly if he didn’t have a release clause inserted.
As Mike says above, he’ll be sold in the next few seasons to the highest bidder, on the flip side at least he won’t walk for free, but that is no real consolation to the fans, as they never reinvest.

Sad to see it in the state it's in.
As a kid I always remember corpy park looking amazing and was always busy.
The last time I was in the park (Last summer) it was packed, lots of families having picnics, just like you remember it. The conservatory has seen better days of course and 'the friends of corporation park' have done a great job in helping to secure funding as the building is superb, a real treasure and deserves to be saved and put back to its former glory.

Great news this lottery funding to repair/maintain the conservatory at Corporation Park, a place I always try to visit when back in Blackburn.

Ceefax was the first place I saw the headline:
Blackburn bid for England captain Lineker.
I thought it was a typo!

On the point of sitting with the home fans I recall being in the South Stand when Shearer scored a hat trick. Sitting on our hands without saying a word ensured a safe exit at the end of the game.
5 of us in the home end that day, went on the train, avoided the police and those buses from the station for our own safety......
Who cares, it wasn’t as if we took the kop!

There was at least 12 in your main stand mate. They were on our 3rd mini bus this morning.
My lad and his 2 mates were in the Blackburn End. Non of them caused any bother.
I went to Elland Road late 80’s, 5000 on that night, more stewards than home fans.

Apparently that's not what happened at all. There was Leeds all over the ground today. Loads in the main stand and plenty in the Riverside stand. Thankfully most showed a bit of decorum and kept schtum.
It was a Leeds lad I know personally who was windmilling in the Riverside. He's banned from attending games and has been for the last 3 seasons.
Nobody gives a toss.
‘Leeds all over the ground’ is nothing more than fanboy *anking material.
I’ve been in the Leeds end plenty of times over the years, along with many others. We never shouted it from the roof tops, we just came, watched the game and moved on to bigger clubs.

Unable to compete with the top sides in this division due to lack of funding from our awful owners Venkys.
Mid table and that's our lot.
This.
Nothing more to add.

Not a day for dressers today lads.Just a navy berghaus, CP woolly hat and dark blue Adidas Munchen with M&S dark blue blue harbour jeans today. I still look very impressive and much better than the local riff raff.
I wouldn't even put CP Company in my dogs outside kennel, utter garbage.

Absolutely horrendous weather this morning in the Ribble Valley, I imagine we are all going to get very wet down Ewood.
Its biblical here in Yorkshire, sideways sleeting right now.
Best wrap up everyone.

Thanks for all your efforts behind the scenes Mike, giving up your own time to try and break down barriers between the fans and the club. It looks like that hard work will bear fruit this weekend with 16k+ getting down to Ewood.
Keep up the good work.
