  1. Couldn't agree more. They brought in Walter Zenga to start off with after bombing Lambert out of the club when he refused to sign players he'd never seen, and Walter failed miserably. Wolves will fail, its only a matter of time.
  2. I'm now sick of seeing crying Aussie cheats on my Tv. Man the uck up, show some bloody backbone. Jesus wept

  6. Never been a fan of George Groves mainly from the Froch era really, I think you naturally fell into one camp or another and I was a Froch fan, loved his style and heart. But I must admit I was out of the chair a couple of times against Eubank, he schooled him for large parts of the fight and the fact Groves has fought at a much higher level showed on the night, man against boy for me. But he's young enough to come back, he's a fresh fighter and with his dad doing less and less in the camp can only be a good thing. This weekend we see Kel Brook returning to the ring after his loses to Golovkin and Spence Jr. Think Kel's looking for a pay day against Khan in the next 12 months having shown he's not good enough to mix it with the big boys, so I may not even bother watching it.... Who an I kidding! but he's in this now for the money only and that usually doesn't end well for many fighters.
  7. Left Banke - Walk away Renee
  8. As Rovers fans we don't give legendary status to many and because of the circumstances Mulgrew has come to us under I doubt he'll reach that level. All that said if he leads the side to successive promotions he'll be an instant legend, either that or he sticks one of Balaji, so fingers crossed on either of those. But I take nothing away from the guy, top player for us and long may that continue.
  9. Elvis Presley - Don't cry daddy
  10. Good read chaddy, and as Asia says above, well timed also to give everyone a sense of togetherness for the run in, someone with a brain has finally entered the building! Mowbray, having spent many years at Middlesbrough understand the supporters and what the club means to the town, both clubs/towns are remarkably similar and Mowbray gets it. The job this season is nowhere near done and we'll have a few ups and downs in the weeks to come, but as I've consistently said all season, I believe to have us in our current lofty position is remarkable after 8yrs of rape plunder and pillage and for that Mowbray deserves much of the credit.
  11. Electric Light Orchestra - Mr Blue Sky
  12. The Velvet Underground - Sister Ray
  13. Shed Seven - it's not easy
  14. Sharif Dean - Do you love me

  19. Very humble man was an infectious passion for football and Blackpool FC. Remember him more recently for his radio 5 commentary. Thoughts are with his family.
  20. Gastroenteritis by all accounts, now batting after Moeens pathetic attempt at holding up an end. Joe Playing a real captains innings, but he looks rough, really rough.
  21. and you'd certainly know a pillock RV...... Tim Farron has been going to Ewood for years, I've seen him many times with his wife, they used to post on here before the numptys arrived. Ive never seen you at Ewood? and with the nonsense you spout I doubt you've ever been to be honest but we digress. Great to see Tim keeping the Blue and White flag flying high, good effort.
  22. You can hear the champagne corks now....... A proper ground for proper cricket fans, and a local shop, somewhere in the Midlands or North of England.
  23. With over 260k fans coming through the gates at MCG isn't it about time we built a stadium that can cope with the demand for tickets in this country? I've not been to as much cricket as I once did in recent times, but the demand for tickets still seems to be high, this despite the disgraceful prices now being charged around the country. I never want cricket to go the way football has with the influx of Sky money, but a 50k national stadium surly makes sense from a fan perspective, at international level anyway?
  24. Curran gets Smith, good effort lad, let's get a couple more quick wickets and make a game of it.
  25. Poor start once again by England, no chances at all, on a great batting wicket granted. Think its TMS through the night and bit of shut eye, its going to be a long test match, AGAIN.
