  1. That wasn't your point Matty, very poor, but we digress.
  2. You jumped In taking about people goading, then ignored the people being goaded on a regular basis? You're an IT guy right? get an IPad that works, or lay off the ale. Great win today, try typing that.
  3. We've had a good win, why not just enjoy it?
  4. Very diplomatic, but ignoring the constant trolling and baiting Matty. Hysterica? Bloodying? I'm having a beer, need to catch up to you.
  5. You can't blame the minority, who are mostly Mowbray fans, shoving it right down the armchair experts throtes when everything they claim, crumbles around them Matty. Drop Dack, Graham's past it and Conways a ****. The reaction today after 2 defeats was phenomenal and long may it continue. ****Disclaimer**** Wednesday were absolutly shocking.
  6. This football club is crying out for a bit of stability and thankfully we have that with Mowbray. He has not only improved the side on the pitch but has made a major impact behind the scenes, we are operating like a professional football club once again and that goes unnoticed by many. Personally I wouldn't swap him for any other manager in the Championship at this junction, things are going extremely well, let's hope we continue to see small improvements because they could lead to bigger things further down the road.
  7. He comes across as one of us, he understands the club, town and its supporters. That is why I hope he continues to make a success of this. He has almost made me forget Venkys even exist, almost.
  8. You won't find that in the Telegraph!!
  9. Frustrated and pissed off, really? After all that has gone on since the idiots took over? Come on Neal, you more than most must surely understand the clubs made tremendous strides since King @#/?, Appleton and Coyle ran rough shot over the place? Mowbray needs to sort this lot out I agree, but we are in a much better place than when he found us.
  10. A damning appraisal from manager and reporter, we will certainly see what this side is made of against Wednesday at the weekend. Not a great night for the fans, terrible weather and even worse on the pitch, but the ones that braved the elements are a credit to the club, I applaud you all.
  11. Scotland, think I will drive next time, white knuckle stuff. Apologies from Mowbray tonight, things must have been bad.
  12. Just got off a plane, bumpy as hell, fortunately I missed the whole game. Ignorance is bliss.
  13. Be interesting to see the following tonight after Saturdays fantastic turnout. Has anyone seen how many tickets have been shifted?
  14. Fortunately Leeds are in Sky almost weekly so Boxing Day is sorted.
  15. Even a stopped clock is right twice a day.... Mowbray got WBA promoted after restructuring the club (no mean feat) But let's put this Coyle nonsense to bed, he was absolutly ucking useless, along with his backroom staff, useless, you backed the wrong horse, no pun intended.
  16. The ones complaining have very short memories, club statements since the idiots look over are like hens teeth, embrace them, you never know when Mowbray will be sacked and we end up with another looser like Mercers mate Coyle. Rallying calls from the manager, what next, shirts and season tickets on sale in May! NEVER!
  17. Could this be the Venky hand meddling in team matters? I have no idea K-Hod, absolute speculation on my part, but would Mowbray use this sort of money on a player with potential only, when he's crying out for strength in other areas?
  18. Saw an article with Mick Rathbone last week, he was quoted as saying Brereton has the potential be top top player, having worked with him previously. We have no chance of going up this season in my opinion, so I'm not concerned how Mowbrays sees Brereton role right now as long as he's ready for next season. But I do worry the Venky hand has been involved with this one.
  19. It's amazing what a season of success can do arbitro, it's like the past 8/9yrs didn't happen on occasions posting on here. The Brereton deal and subsequent bench warming is extremely strange, Mowbray doesn't think he's ready clearly. But as I said yesterday it's all very Venkyesq and reminds us all that they're still very much in charge at the club and we're only ever a bad decision away from disaster.
  20. You slagged off Mowbray and his backroom staff, this after 1 promotion, a superb home record, club stability, the best team spirit since Hughes was here and a £20m pound midfielder on the books, it's absolute bunkum, lazy even. Mowbray has worked wonders in his time here so far, he took WBA out of this league as champions, so to say he's not got it is wide of the mark. He may well fail here, who knows, but the fans that go to games are enjoying the experience again, I certainly am, and that is on no all part down to Mowbray, the players he's assembled and his backroom staff.
  21. Absolutly nothing to support that sweeping statement Mercer. Results and transfer dealings have been good since Mowbray arrived, we've seen vast improvements on the playing side, club stability excellent. We lost to Bpools main rivals, bad day at the office, nothing more and we move on.
  22. To be fair you've been saying he's not the man for us since the early part of last season. I take all your points onboard, but give the guy a chance, he knows how to rebuild a side and get out of this league, we're lucky to have him.
  23. Everyone's dissapointed with today's result, but claiming this is Mowbrays limit is knee jerk at best. If you look at the current side, it's nowhere near good enough to go up, we need 2/3 solid performers with a bit of quality thrown in and far more experience at this level. The Bereton signing is very much Venkyesq, seems bonkers, doesn't make sense, but he's here and could well turn out to be a fantastic signing, or we've been had AGAIN, time will tell. The problem with sections of this site is most think we're going up every season, a few wins and some are booking hotels for Wembley, when in reality we're a season or 2 away from getting to that level if we keep progressing and the more considered posters realise that. We're having a good season, getting better on and off the pitch, so keep the faith, we are streets ahead of where we've been in recent times.
