The KLF - Last train to trancentral

Just goes to show how good Mayweather is, despite him being a complete arse. He had little or no problems beating Alvarez, just technically far superior. Strong rumours of Pacman v Mayweather 2, the first fight was 3/4yrs too late, this one only makes sense for the bank balances, i'd probably not watch it.
-
I've had time to watch the fight again and it was much closer than I originally thought. I think you're right tomphil, a draw was certainly the best result this time around but that would have been a bridge to far for many, especially the promotion team. 2 very good fights, let's do it again in the New Year.

Its in every town and city across the country, but Blackburn has had very few reports of this kind in the local press from what I've seen. Manchester has been the subject of many reports over the past 12 months, a documentary or 2 also, but it's across the whole country because it's so cheap and not heroin. I feel sorry for the police, under funded, under resourced and having to respond to spice cases like the one in video when they should be doing real police work. This country is fecked.

Most Famous Blackburn Lad Ever?
Gav replied to Exiled in Toronto's topic in I Can't Believe It's Not Football
I can't understand why you're trying to fight this battle on 2 forums Vinjay? Xenophobia, racism and downright irrational hatred of certain groups isn't recognisable to many who frequent this site, so no wonder posters are not that interested. You'd be better served fighting the battle on - http://roversfans.com/ surely? -
Golovkin = Robbed - Again. Much better fight than the last one, 2 warriors that left nothing in the ring, but GGG won that on everyone's card other than the judges at ringside. Oh well, I'm sure we'll do it all again very soon.

Rovers v Villa - 15th September 2018
Gav replied to Proudtobeblue&white's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
As usual some right bobbins being talked on here.... That was a very good performance from a side that lost at home to AFC Wimbledon this time last year. Its disappointing to lose a late goal, was it even a free kick? But what a tremendous strike. Mowbray has worked wonders since his arrival, brought in a bunch of players that actually give a sh1 t and I, like most fans, couldn't be happier with progress so far. Onwards and upwards. -
Just reading through the whole thread it's striking how the level of debate on the site in general has deteriorated since 2014, but hey that's progress. Bolton won't go out of business, clubs like ours always survive. But if they go into admin and subsequently get relegated its party time for them in league 1 Lucky swines!

Great win Lancs, superb running between the wickets towards the end to lay to rest the Durham debacle. Finals day here we come.

Burnley pub renamed after Sean Dyche
Gav replied to Rogerb's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
I had the misfortune to read that old has been Allardyce giving Dyche advise on burnleys Euro campaign, saying they can't cope on 2 fronts and they should concentrate on the league and forget Europe. What a w****r, no surprise he's unemployed and never won owt. Ive no time for any of them of course, but his 'b0ll0x to fans' attitude still grinds my gears. Ps - I hope the taxi full of dingles that make it to Greece get the squirts. -
Got to say I really enjoyed tonight's game, it's clear we're in a better league and plying our trade against much better players, but we didn't look out of place. Started the game on the front foot hitting the bar, then conceded 2 very poor goals, but we never gave up and that's all credit to Mowbray, he's instilled that never say die attitude and it bore fruit tonight. All the players in blue n White looked comfortable, nobody looked out of place, and that sets us for a decent season and a mid table finish. Job done.

Another decent bill at a very rainy Windsor Park last night, rounded off by a classic display of boxing by Carl Frampton against an outclassed Aussie Luke Jackson. Frampton quickly realised Jackson couldn't hurt him and bust him up with skill and accuracy, superb technically, very good display, a great watch. Moving to Fury........you have to be asking questions about him fighting 2 bums and jumping straight into a Vegas world title fight against Wilder. Great for Fury, even better for Wilder who should win and both men will pocket millions, then repeat over here next summer, I'm already bored..... Back in the real world Frampton Vrs Warrington should be a cracker, Warren said the fights made and I'd certainly pay good money to watch that. Both men can sell out home stadiums, so it will be interesting to see where the fights held.

Lancs poor again Jim, I turned it off at 85-6....as a few have already said, something not right at Old Trafford, could be time for change.
-
Its affray, K-Hod context doesn't come into it. He was acquitted of affray which quite frankly is a disgrace. But we move on.
-
Stokes was clearly the aggressor, throwing punches, flicked a cigarette at the gay chap he was supposed to be defending, and proceeded to knock 1 lad out who was holding his hands up not looking for a fight. The guys a bully. Just imagine if you're a football fan on CCTV in the same circumstances, you'd have been jailed and banned from Ewood for life. But it's over now, no harm done in the grand scheme of things. Lancashire 82-7 away to Birmingham Bears and Flintoff commentating...... can it get any worse......
-
Just goes to prove once again that if you've got enough cash you can get off with anything..... Definition of affray: 'Under the Public Order Act 1986 'a person is guilty of affray if he uses or threatens unlawful violence towards another and his conduct is such as would cause a person of reasonable firmness present at the scene to fear for his personal safety' Anyone who has seen the video can make their own mind up.... Guilty as charged in my opinion.

Fencing between the Villa fans and the pitch, section down the side, certainly looked that way, could have been netting.
-
£18 is great value, especially when you consider Hull fans are being charged £33 at Hillsborough and home fan non members £39! Did anyone else notice the fencing that's been put up in the away section at Hull? Looked like Villa fans had restricted views down the side, but not behind the goals. City of culture living in 1970's?

That batting performance by Lancs last night has to rank as probably the worst death overs T20 batting I've ever seen. They wanted 23 off 23 with 5 wickets in hand and blew it, lost 3 wickets in the final over and scored only 1 run. Heads should roll, something sadly a miss behind the scenes.
-
Outstanding few days of test match cricket so far and it looks as though conditions will favour England in the morning. Just watched Roy and Finch in T20 smack 194 in an opening partnership, chasing a record 222 to win, won easily by 9 wickets! Lancashire looked well placed to win tonight but the bowling attack let them down..

Burnley pub renamed after Sean Dyche

Didn't even realise that lot had been playing until I saw this mornings paper and them hammering the turnout. Battle of Britain, first European game in 50yrs, swathes of empty seats, 3k from Aberdeen, not exactly caught the imagination now has it. 'If we get into Europe they'll have to put seats up Brunshaw' ???
