£18 is great value, especially when you consider Hull fans are being charged £33 at Hillsborough and home fan non members £39! Did anyone else notice the fencing that's been put up in the away section at Hull? Looked like Villa fans had restricted views down the side, but not behind the goals. City of culture living in 1970's?

That batting performance by Lancs last night has to rank as probably the worst death overs T20 batting I've ever seen. They wanted 23 off 23 with 5 wickets in hand and blew it, lost 3 wickets in the final over and scored only 1 run. Heads should roll, something sadly a miss behind the scenes.

Outstanding few days of test match cricket so far and it looks as though conditions will favour England in the morning. Just watched Roy and Finch in T20 smack 194 in an opening partnership, chasing a record 222 to win, won easily by 9 wickets! Lancashire looked well placed to win tonight but the bowling attack let them down..

Burnley pub renamed after Sean Dyche

Didn't even realise that lot had been playing until I saw this mornings paper and them hammering the turnout. Battle of Britain, first European game in 50yrs, swathes of empty seats, 3k from Aberdeen, not exactly caught the imagination now has it. 'If we get into Europe they'll have to put seats up Brunshaw' ??? -
I didn't mind the Woods coverage tbh, not won a major in 10yrs, arguably the best golfer that's ever lived, he's always going to be the focus. What did annoy me was the bleedin Aussie? commentator who kept butting in with cr@p jokes and Ill timed snippets, infuriating and just awful. Ended up watching the BBC highlights last night instead of sky. It reminded me of Flintoffs awful T20 commentary, it was like a teenage PE changing room whilst he was on, awful stuff and hopefully never to commentate again. The Beeb just do most sport better for me.

It's a right load of bunkum Husky, devalues the competitions for me, shouldn't be allowed. Worcestershire have just signed SA all-rounder Wayne Parnell for T20 and County championship and Ravi Ashwin for county champs (2 games) Its a right con. The game needs an overhaul, look at the players missing for most of the season at Yorks due to England duty/IPL, it's not right for me, but I'm not sure what the answer is...

Some nice items listed Regg, I hope you manage to sell a few. I saw a Premiership Champions shirt signed by all the squad going for £3k a few weeks ago. Whilst I doubt that will actually fetch that kind of money, it shows the price of Rovers memrobillia from that season is on the increase. Good luck.

Absolutely spot on. I hope he's full off regret the greedy swine, he still believes he did nothing wrong..... What a ****.

Englands batting has been awful for a while now, I think it's about time heads started to roll. Watching Lancs at New Road this afternoon, lost Jennings early but Brown and Livingstone steadied the ship. Worcestershire pulled this right back now and ahead of the game having just got Livingstone out. Thunder in the distance, we may need the weather to save us at this rate.

Sounds like you've been busy Mark!! We've got Morrissey playing Castlefield Bowl - £70 a ticket - he's brilliant but not at that price.

I've been lucky enough to watch most of this years IPL, fantastic tournament that attracts the best players from around the world, although the cattle trading before the tournament starts leaves a bad taste in the mouth, but hey ho..... But I just wanted to single out Rasid Khan the young Afghan spinner, batter and exceptional fielder, the mans on another level in this form of the game, an absolute joy to watch. Hes going to be a superstar, he already is in India and Afghanistan, keep an eye out for him if you've never seen him, gets you out of your seat. One last thing, the Indian talent that can't make the national squad is frightening, batting, spin and pace bowlers a plenty, could dominate the game in years to come.

Darwen End Closure / New Singing Section
Gav replied to pk1875's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
Not read the whole thread but was this decision run past the fans groups? The move certainly makes sense to anyone not impacted by the closure, unlike moving the family stand which for me was a disgrace. -
This football club will never progress until those idiots in Pune scuttle back under the rock from whence they came. Simple as that really.

Has anyone got Chestons email address? We need to ask him if he still thinks Coyle was the 'Standout candidate' That Neil Warnock at Cardiffs not a bad un, superb effort getting Cardiff promited.

I've had the misfortune of going in the sh1thole a couple of times, it makes The Sun pub in Blackburn look like Northcote. -
Still can't believe Coleman went to Sunderland, he had everything to lose and nothing to gain for me. His stock was high managing Wales, now its tainted, stupid move for me.

Couldn't agree more. They brought in Walter Zenga to start off with after bombing Lambert out of the club when he refused to sign players he'd never seen, and Walter failed miserably. Wolves will fail, its only a matter of time.

Never been a fan of George Groves mainly from the Froch era really, I think you naturally fell into one camp or another and I was a Froch fan, loved his style and heart. But I must admit I was out of the chair a couple of times against Eubank, he schooled him for large parts of the fight and the fact Groves has fought at a much higher level showed on the night, man against boy for me. But he's young enough to come back, he's a fresh fighter and with his dad doing less and less in the camp can only be a good thing. This weekend we see Kel Brook returning to the ring after his loses to Golovkin and Spence Jr. Think Kel's looking for a pay day against Khan in the next 12 months having shown he's not good enough to mix it with the big boys, so I may not even bother watching it.... Who an I kidding! but he's in this now for the money only and that usually doesn't end well for many fighters.

As Rovers fans we don't give legendary status to many and because of the circumstances Mulgrew has come to us under I doubt he'll reach that level. All that said if he leads the side to successive promotions he'll be an instant legend, either that or he sticks one of Balaji, so fingers crossed on either of those. But I take nothing away from the guy, top player for us and long may that continue.
