  1. Very lucky goal really, great save just earlier by the Raya. Slow build up, sideways and back.
  2. 4 ball = 4 persons with 4 sandwiches included!
  3. I still love a good curry Gordon, but Chinese food is probably my favourite. As for golf, I have a set thanks, you cheeky swine. My mate played Pleasington on Friday, 4 ball with a bacon sandwich £140, which was great value I felt.
  4. Kebabish is excellent, Khyber isn’t what it used to be sadly, or wasn’t last time I was there. A few on Preston New Road also gordon, not far from you? Ever nip in after a round of golf?
  5. Now that Resh's has closed down, and we fancied a change from The Naga, we went to The Anaz in Darwen on Friday and weren't disappointed. One thing I have to say is the place was packed to the rafters! Took us 20 minutes to get a table which is unusual in my experience for local Indian restaurants, but a good indicator surely. The food was very good, fresh and cooked to order, the menus fine but could do with an overhaul in my opinion. We’ve not been for years and its still the same dishes, but then again if you’ve got customers queuing out the door why change a winning formula. All in all a good experience at the oldest Indian restaurant in Darwen.
  6. Down in the tube station at midnight / The Jam
  7. I've heard of 29 Palms by Robert Plant, but who sings 54 days?
  8. Thanks for that AS. Absolutely brilliant, what an opening round! what a fight, how did they take those punches in the first round? As for best fight, Benn V McClellan was brutal, watched it in a The Cellar bar in Blackburn, fantastic night packed to the rafters. Also the Barrera v Morales fights take some beating. Arturo Gatti V Micky Ward.
  9. Interesting article about the Hagler/Hearns fight: http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/boxing/32278382 I can recall watching it in some guise, probably not live in them days, but don't remeber much about the fight a part from the knockout and the look on Hearns face. Think i'll find a download and watch it again. Best fight ever? not sure about that.
  10. Result! Only problem as I see it, Sting, can't stand the guy. Paul Simon, legend.
