  1. How did it confuse and hinder the team? Can you explain further? Surely his tactical changes help us get the 3 points? We defending their long balls better second half and stop their striker winning the ball in the air as much? The performance attacking wise for the last 60 mins wasnt good enough but at least we were good defensively and won a different way. I agree with Rodwell starting next game
  2. A Rovers fan posted this on twitter and I asked could I posted it here, said yes. Once again, today proved we have a manager that we need to be grateful for the fact that he is at our club. Feet on the ground, not getting carried away with an away from home victory. Praise where it’s due, but demanding and promising better. This is a top man. #Rovers
  3. Sky Sports commentator said this aswell
  4. Yes we do. I think Chapman and Bauer will come in January in my opinion. Yes every game is tough. But feel we can donit. Looking at the betting currently and Henry and Faria are favourites for the job
  5. with 3 signings in January we could get top 6 this season
  6. very happy to get the 3 points and a clean sheet. I felt the first 25/30 minutes we were very good and Rothwell very involved. Then we stopped playing and we were lucky first half not to be level with Bolton at half time. I disagree with us going 3 at the back at half time but looking back it really work well and stop them dominated us in the air. Rothwell and Rodwell going off I was surprise at but understand why Evans and Smallwood came on to make us more solid. I think we will start to see 3 at the back abit more to keep clean sheets and keep points on the board against teams who play very direct style Thought Mulgrew was outstanding at the back and so pleased he is back. This performance was about being defensive solid and full and grit and determination. Going forward was were very poor and very surprise after our start to the game. Our attacking play and passing need improve and was pleased to see Mowbray says this after the game. officials were excellent today apart for them missing Wheater high challenge
  7. Very good goal. Build up good build up play. Palmer good in build up. Impressed by Rothwell and Rodwell so far. Need to tighten up defensively.
  8. Well if you actually look at the time the article was posted just 18 hours ago. Whilst my post was 27 hours ago. I let you work it for yourself Mick??? Maybe check before posted this Bullshit!!! ?
  9. Agreed on Rothwell. 14/1 on Sky bet. Worth a couple of pounds at least
  10. Raya Bennett Lenihan Mulgrew Williams Reed Rodwell Palmer Dack Rothwell Graham
  11. Bennett has played the wing back role under a number of managers like Lambert(Norwich), Cotterill(Bristol City), Mowbray(Blackburn). Bell played the wing back role for Fleetwood before he came here under Rosler. Lenihan, Rodwell(can play centre back), Mulgrew, Williams can all play there and I expect Bauer to sign in January. Dack was marked out of the game by Norwood. Mowbray signings, Rodwell and Brereton will take time to build fitness up and get used to the way we play. Davenport is injured, Armstrong and Reed played, Rothwell and Palmer both on bench. Mowbray wanted Chapman and Pulis blocked it last minute cos he didn't a winger Pulis wouldn't release him until he signed a winger but never did. Centre midfielders subject we have Smallwood, Reed, Evans, Davenport, possibly Rodwell. How is that too many? With Mulgrew back he will be taking corners from the right side so he can in swing them.
  12. great post and I agree 100%. On Wednesday, he was making good runs but we weren't passing to him.
  13. He wanted Chapman back. He like Bennett wide. Why question the signings tho?
  14. Nyambe, Lenihan, Mulgrew, Rodwell and Williams can play the 3 centre backs role. Bennett and Bell has wing backs. Dack can play the role with 2 strikers up front like we did on Wednesday. We have Reed, Smallwood, Evans and Rothwell can play the 2 centre midfielder roles. I wouldnt go 3 at the back for this game. Probably would for Swansea and west Brom games tho.
  15. https://www.lancashiretelegraph.co.uk/sport/16963718.boss-targets-defensive-improvement-to-address-cross-concerns/?ref=mac Mowbray targets defensive improvement from crosses. Also mention we might go 3 at the back.

  17. Nope. I suggested him for the West Ham manager job in the summer. Good manager in Germany. Very decent CV. i seen him as the manager of FC Ingolstadt 04 on tv and like his style. Has you said Dean Smith ticks all the boxes and IMO should be their 1st choice but I wouldnt be surprise if they appoint some left field choice on the advise of an agent or advisor. Cant see Allardyce coming back into football. McCarthy wont be popular either. Still think they are a big club. Win nothing in years.
  18. Villa should be looking at Ralph Hasenhüttl as an option. Plays good football and could have a similar impact to when Wagner and Nouo came in at Huddersfield and Wolves. It is believe that Mendes is close to the owners aswell so we see who he suggest.
  19. Has Mowbray and Waggott said in the summer that the plan is to consolidate this season and then challenge for promotion this season. Mowbray has talk about building a squad over 3 transfers windows. Which would be this summer one, January transfer window and Summer 2019 window. Waggott has said in the summer if we finish top 10 this season it would an excellent season
  20. Played in a couple of friendlies. Against Hibs and Liverpool
  21. Probably Sako. No idea what he means by term "political nature" tho?
  22. David Moyes new bookies favourite for Villa job. Some Villa fans on twitter not happy at all.
