  1. This season match day prices been announced https://www.rovers.co.uk/news/2018/june/rovers-confirm-match-ticket-prices-for-2018-19/
  2. well Bolton were linked with him in January. If the numbers were right meant if Bolton could agree a deal in terms of loan fee and wages demands The Daily Mirror is reporting Norwich are keen on a permanent deal
  3. agreed and we need more of striker with strength and pace who can score goals also fair enough. Norwich is good suggestion. maybe Ipswich aswell. my opinion based on them needing a striker. plus they were after him on deadline day last January
  4. Firstly Winnall was on loan at Derby last season so not sat at Wednesday bench like you say. I think its time that we moved on Rhodes. He left his choice by the way. Also his wages wouldnt fit our budget or Mowbray thoughts on bringing players on more money and upsetting the squad morale, squad togetherness and spirit. Winnall got 4 times what he moved to Wednesday from Barnsley. How much was he on at Barnsley but I dont think it huge amount. I believe Bolton are interest in Rhodes if the numbers are right. Ipswich and Sunderland were interest in him aswell last January
  5. Dunny official twitter message Thanks to everyone for all the kind messages ! It’s been a great couple of years working with the club again but at this moment can’t commit the time ! For the record I won’t be going to any other club ? #tmbwa https://t.co/gLgvvWqxw0 http://www.lancashiretelegraph.co.uk/sport/football/16308553._I_m_looking_forward_to_the_next_chapter__-_David_Dunn_on_leaving_Rovers/
  6. I have never hide about my dyslexic but been very open and honest about it. I'm always open and honest about everything and if anything too open and honest for my own good. Now can we get back to talking about football and Blackburn Rovers.
  7. Here the BBC lancashire coverage https://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/p06837kv#play
  8. I seen him a few times. Technical good, passing good, box to box midfielder. for Rhodes, how do you know he hasn't lost any of his ability? Wasn't it just over 500k the fee for Winnall from Sheffield Wednesday. scored 7 goals in 19 games for Derby last season. Rhodes record last season was 5 goals in 31 league games
  9. why? play 2 different positions wasn't it not Pete O'Rourke who said we were after Rothwell last January?
  10. first good solid signing. fit the type of players Mowbray said he was looking at. young, quick, technical good.
  11. I am quite happy to sit back and trust Mowbray judgement on transfer and see who we signed. who would I sign? I don't know. Maybe Sam Winnall from Sheff Wednesday Yes Rhodes was good here but I always felt his all round game wasn't good enough at times. My question why haven't Sheff Wed been playing him last season. I think Bolton might moved for Rhodes on loan. Mowbray and Dunn have told you the reasons why he has step down, so why keep looking for something not there unless you think Dunn has lie to Mowbray about his reasons NO its not impossible to hold a conversation with me, its just you are looking for something that isn't there. I caused zero aggro. I talk football without getting personal. Great points made there good signing yes it was but in January Pete O'Rourke linked us with him Pete O'Rourke
  12. Maybe Billy Barr will just step up on match days? Dunn walk away not the club or Mowbray decision to get rid of him. Mowbray talk about other business interests outside of football. Are you calling Mowbray a liar? Look at comments from Dunn on official website and his comments about Mowbray. Plus Dunn has a family so might want to spend more time with them. Actually he hasnt. Barely played at PL level. Not good enough. But we wont signing Rhodes. Hes on 40k at Sheff Wed. Can we afford it? Nope. Would I sign him? Deffo not. We moved on since then.
  13. how has Nixon been be right. told me this week, Armstrong coming here permanently would be out of budget unless wages and fee wanted changed. Tom, its time we moved on from Jordan Rhodes pal. the guy left and done nothing with his career apart from not played games and not scored goals. plus his wages would be massive issue and Mowbray has said he doesn't want players on daft amount of money Its a workmanlike team which has a great team spirit and togetherness. I wouldn't play Nyambe as a wing back but put Bennett there. But we still have 6 weeks until the season starts so our line up will change. I agree on building this team slowly and we need to the spirit and togetherness within the team. agreed we have a team of grafters with some talented football players. I agreed we have to build slowly and not bring in a bad egg and upset the camp. any signing must have the right character and wages must not be silly and more than other players. Parsonblue, do you think that's the right decision not to replace Dunn or do you expect Billy Barr or Mike Sheron to help out there when require? isn't Terry McPhillips not Bowyer number 2 there? why? Dunn left for his own reasons.
  14. I am very pleased we passed last season ticket holder number and hopefully we will see even more sold. would like to know what the figure is right now. depends on people circurmstances whether it family situation that might change, or change of job/job promotion that allow them to come to more games, or going on a family holiday that must be paid before being able to afford the Season Ticket after the holiday.
  15. not from what I have read mention 5 or 6 signings. I can understand his stance on loan players and not wanting his squad with 3 or 4 loan players in it. would it be right to say Tom that we can expect 2 or 3 cash buys and 2 or 3 free transfer signings?
  16. no lets not. lets backed a manager who has build a team which has passion, commitment, represent the club motto and build a fantastic rapport with the fans.
  17. why? Do you ever have anything positive to say
  18. Mowbray deserve a new contract, I would give him a new 3 years contract
  19. Rovers will announce a new senior management team, of who Steve Waggott will be working alongside, next week. http://www.lancashiretelegraph.co.uk/sport/16306771.LIVE__Blackburn_Rovers_Supporters_Consultation_Meeting/?ref=mac
  20. Mowbray;s comments about signings He has held meetings with around six players with prospective signings. He says he is excited by the quality of players that are available and feels he will be giving himselves problems when it comes to team selection next season "I'm excited - things will happen. Hopefully we'll have an announcement soon and think we will sign two, three, four players over the next couple of weeks." TM says he's sat in his office with up to 10 players says it's imperative not to 'put a bad egg' in among what is a good dressing room. I'd sacrifice quality for personality and character. "The group itself, digging in when it was tough, that was what won us promotion Harry Chapman is "desperate to come back" according to TM who spoke to him this week. Money there to spend on players, TM confirms. Money there to spend on players, TM confirms. all the above quotes are from this http://www.lancashiretelegraph.co.uk/sport/16306771.LIVE__Blackburn_Rovers_Supporters_Consultation_Meeting/?ref=mac
  21. was any figure or percentage put to these increase numbers? good to know that we will have new fans next season. great. I think he will be our 1st signing great guy and will be missed by the under 23's anything else said about other possible transfer transfers? I think Chapman would be great asset to this team and he would benefit from working under Mowbray and his staff. I can understand that Armstrong deal would be too much for us anything said about the new scouting system? thanks @Madon for the updates
  22. Waggott has explained what his role is, how much contact he has with the owners and his working relationship with Mowbray. Havent we been told what the clubs plans are for the next season and finances are like. Arent Waggott and Cheston going to be present tonight? I believe Mowbray should be there so he can talk about the footballing structure and long term plan. I would like to know who is currently in charge of scouting and recruitment team? Is Mike Rigg still involve with the club? You need to ask the Football League that question about the point of these meetings if you want answers to it? The communication side of the club is great asset to this club
  23. Rich Sharpe doesnt know much about transfers at all. Guess he doesnt have the contacts the media press do. Cant remember the last time the LT did an exclusive on an incoming transfer
