  1. didn't Broughton and JDT dismissed that
  2. Jones, the striker from Peterbrough is starting for them tonight in the FA cup. game live on BBC I player
  3. Would be good signing. Can play 2 positions. Can play left back. Let's make it happen
  4. I think We will miss Baker and I think he gave you what you want as back up to Travis and Tronstad cos they will be first choice and been our backbone to our team. It will be interesting who we moved for as back CM now. Need to be someone similar. Its seems like Stoke's boss Mark Robins wanting him back and exercise the recall clause in the loan agreement. No proper links today. Now need 4 players in with Baker going back. Rovers wanted him to play regular competitive football and cos loans to National league and below can be done outside the normal transfers windows.
  5. Ian Wright doesn't do Match of the day anymore. He works for ITV for England games men and Women
  6. carter will be back within a month I believe given the timeline given when it announce he was out injury for a period of time. Jackson said similar on his podcast yesterday I said similar last week and that what I hope we are doing. We see in 4 weeks time i suggested this last week
  7. Do you accept that Eustace wants experience players who can hit the ground running and zero bedding time? We can do permanent transfers but down to cost and budgets. These players being linked are players Eustace wants. Do you accept this?
  8. That's appears what Eustace and Gestede are targeting at the minute who can make an instant impact but experience I would suggested that Eustace and Gestede appears from the links we seen so far appears to be experience player signings from England not looking into the foreign market and as MarkBRFC they seems to be targeting players who can play and start now not players that need to bed in. hence my suggest of Riis.
  9. the better at communicating changing of games was part of the agreement between clubs, EFL and Sky Sports. The Burnley game were knew before the season started. PNE game was move about 2 months ago noticed. I think People are picking and choosing their games to attend if non STH.
  10. interesting. I suggested Riis as potential signing given he is out of contract this summer but you dismiss this over cost
  11. how about given Eustace the quality and experience he wants? We are in playoff hunt and if Eustace beliefs 2 or 3 experience players is what we need and want then as you back him. You keep saying back Eustace but then more concerned about sellable assets than players our head coach wants. exactly Paul and Eustace has get us there in the hunt for playoffs so lets give him what he wants. He has more than proven his worth. I just hope we get than quality striker we want
  12. Match day attendances this season have gone up over the EFL and the amount of walk on's we seen at Rovers has increased this season whilst ST have stayed the same. The EFL and Sky agreed to give Fans plenty of notice over movement of games which they have done. I fully understand some games being moved are unhelpful if you planned to attend a certain game then its moved for TV coverage or similar like Police with the Leeds game
  13. Obviously talks from Rovers for players incomings are happening but transfers take time and this isn't like Football manager game. Its Eustace who has said he wants 2 or 3 players signings and he has said he has put his own targets to Gestede and Owen, and from what Nixon has said Schlupp is Eustace's target and Gestede/Owen have backed that one. The budget will allow Rovers to sign 3 players. It could be used in different ways whichever Eustace, Gestede and Owen decided. So what is more important to you? sellable assets? or backing Eustace in what wants like 2 or 3 experience players who have promotion background?
  14. I was asking RF99 who has been a completely against moving games for TV coverage and people have had 3 months notice., how it affect himself. Yes of course have a moan about the change of kick off time. its no problem to me. I have empathy with people being effect but that's why we got plenty of notice of the change of game. It was clear at the start of the season this game would most likely be moved for TV coverage and last season we played the game on the Friday Night. Yes I am affected by this change of kick off time or any midweek game cos I get around 2 to 3 hours less sleep given I work nights and I have to travelled to work after the game, but I accept the role of TV within the games and I have work nights for many years cos it suits my family needs. I agree on the Coventry thing but Cardiff fans had a choice to make whether or not to attend and they have plenty of notice to make a decision whether to attend or not which is a difference.
  15. From what Nicko is saying on his own Patreon account, it is Eustace pushing for experience signings and the club appears to be backing him.
  16. signing players Eustace wants and requested is backing. Eustace wants these experience players and you say one moment you want Eustace to decide who he wants then next minute you disagree on who he wants. So which one is it? of course it is, given you are questioning the info whilst admitted no have no other info to disapprove what is posted by the well respected and well connected member of this forum. GB admitted during an interview with Jackson that the board wouldn't authorised the permanent move for McGuire. We don't know how much involvement the owners(Mr D) even has with the owners. Money has been made available for 3 loans signings with decent wages or low cost transfer on low wage I and others have expressed our opinions on Rothwell and why we didn't want sell directly to rival who we were challenging for second place. Time to accept each other opinions and move on RF99. its was 3 years ago FFS hindsight is such a wonderful things. We didn't get to the playoffs cos of Mowbray's refusal not changing tactics when it was clear as day the false 9 formation wasn't working. I and others called for this and you backed Mowbray sticking with his false 9 formation. Not for selling Rothwell. Anyway lets agree to disagree given it 3 years ago I explained how I would run the club around transfers. I haven't said that the board should say we should specific player or this player should play but the board should be involved in the transfer process. The Board need to be involved. Do you not think Jack Walker was involve in transfers or John Williams was involved in transfers, saying whether we could afford it or changing budgets so Big Sam could sign Salgado and us having to sell Warnock for financial reasons to Villa. Do you think other clubs boards aren't involve in transfers? Or John Williams's letter to Mrs D saying that the board is no longer involved in transfers and I take it from your post you support the board not being involved?
  17. Its you complaining about kick off times again, so I asked a simple question how it affect you the change of kick off from Saturday 3pm to Friday night and you would have almost 3 months notice. So how does this kick off time affect yourself?
  18. You know this game would be moved at the start of the season and we were told about this game moved 2 months ago. Plenty of notice and how does this game being moved to Friday night affect yourself?
  19. the window has been open for 6 days and barely anything has happened. Eustace and Gestede are on with transfers but we are talks with a couple of players from what we read from Nicko. what would he bring to us if they sign here? Is he goalscorer?
  20. seems Eustace wants experience signings this week Rothwell and Dolan situation are different, given we will still received a fee for him even at the end of the season if he leaves, also factoring in Eustace wants Dolan to stay long term, Rothwell wanted out the last 2 years before he left the club. So your scenario was pointless in my opinion. How did it turn out to be the wrong one? The board of the directors should be involved and have the right to veto if they don't believe it to be right for the club. I posted in the Championship thread how I would run the club around the transfers and the process involved. do you not agree with that or no?
  21. Thanks for sharing your info and I trust your info. Eustace is in a strong position at the minute. Its does appears that Waggott and Suhail lost faith in GB and JDT quickly during the last 6 weeks of that reign and given what came out from certain players about JDT and fall out between them including Travis, Wharton and Brittain Given the players we are being linked with and given Nicko's comments that its Eustace pushing these players he wanted. Looks like Rovers are backing him Wasn't it a loan transfer that the admin error happened. Not the permanent transfer which the board withdraw Rovers from. I know GB and the recruitment team were keen on McGuire transfer but Waggott and Suhail appears from Paul Mani info keen on spending on that sort of money on him. why shouldn't it and do you have any actual info to say the info @Paul Manihas shared is wrong?
  22. Suhail Pasha is Rovers's Chief Operation Officer. According to his own profile on LinkedIn he has been in that role since April 2024 Suhail Shaikh | LinkedIn Hes he does attend more games and sits next to Waggott.
  23. plenty of flaws in your hypothetical question which I won't be answering cos I ain't playing your game. Time for you to accept that we have different opinions on whether Rothwell should have been sold to a direct rival at the time we were challenging for 2nd place, and also why we missed out of the playoffs that season. It is time to agree to disagree cos we have taking enough time to discuss and debate our opinions today. Time to move on
  24. are you a member of the trust?
  25. I asked you 2 very simple questions Not what I said about Rothwell, so don't want to invent points to suit your argument again. I said on Rothwell, the owners were right to stop selling Rothwell to a rival during that season that would strength them and weaken us. We know your opinion on Schlupp FFS, you told us all day long You deal with the situation we are in whilst we might not agree with what they have decide to do with the budget but it is what it is. Lets see who we sign by the end of the welcome
