  1. cos I don't believe players like DIer, Rose, Stones and Rashford are out of form. Stones played excellent last time out for England, Dier has been regular for Spurs, Rashford hasn't been playing due to Mourinho and why you wouldn't play him and Lukaku together I don't know. But Mourinho has picked Lukaku instead in his 1 up front system
  2. Didn't I say I would picked Wilshere instead of Cahill? I have praised Southgate for his selection cos most that squad I would have took. I like Lewis Cook as player and would have maybe prefer him to Wilshere. We have had different types of managers and they don't nowt since Venables and Hoddle days. I like that Southagte has decide to change tactics and play different. the 3 at the back suits our current players. I agree he has got it right with the keepers, plus your point on Sterling and Maguire. I haven't discuss the stand by list
  3. Delph has played in 29 games. https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/fabian-delph/leistungsdaten/spieler/50362 Dier has been played regular for Spurs. Wouldnt be playing if out of form for a top 3 team. Stones not playing to due the form of 2 other players. Lost his place due to injury.
  4. Which players are these then? Kane, one of the best striker in the world. Plus Vardy up front with him aswell. 50 PL goals strike force there. Walker and Sterling outstanding seasons for their club. A manager picking players on form and leaving players out who are injury prone or out of form like Wilshere and Hart. Cos What ive said is true. Like his reply was another insulting comment Stuart.
  5. Please admins can we have negative England huskometer for these fans? Thanks in advance
  6. What a load of rubbish. The squad is good and roughly what I would have picked. (21/22 out of 23)
  7. no need for the unnecessary insult at me. Now can we get back to discussing transfer targets and links to players through the media
  8. disagree again, I would back Mowbray long term and keep him here. He will know by now what his budget is. probably had his meeting with the owners and will be on his way back tomorrow. expect an interview with BBC Radio Lancs and Sky Sports on Friday. Very pleased we are being linked with Edwards from Peterborough. would be good signing here.
  9. Lancashire team for the one day comp today ennings Davies Livingstone Vilas Croft Clark Bailey Mennie Parkinson Parry Lilley.
  10. Rovers linked with Peterborough winger Edwards https://www.bristolpost.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/peterborough-united-fend-interest-bristol-1577614
  11. I agree that Mowbray see Travis as a midfielder. Maybe Caddis will sort his fitness out this summer. maybe the sports science staff will be sorting this out I don't know if we are going to another right back then we need to move Caddis on, unless you want 35 man squad ?
  12. well JHRover, I disagree, I think this is time we offer a new contract and back Mowbray after he has rebuild a club, fanbase and playing squad. Why re-assess the situation at Christmas? Yes Caddis is only 30 years old Hernandez is looking for 40k a week and that's is out of our price region imo. On Oliveria, Norwich want to sell him and for me isn't the striker we need. only scored 8 goals in 37 games last season. never been impressed by him. I think Mowbray will be back with some money but not millions after millions. I would say 6 or 7 signings we need. so might be a couple of free transfers, 3 cash buy and 1 or 2 loans signings.
  13. We agree on that We dont need a right back. We have enough cover there unless Caddis move on. Already said we need 2 new wingers and 1 new centre midfielder but I expect will play wide when playing away from home against teams like Boro, Derby, Wba, Stoke and Swansea. Yes we do need to giving Mowbray a new deal. Keep him long term and let him build on the success he had again. Mowbray has already he will be offering Dack a new contract I agree 100%. The turnover of managers is ridiculous these days but thats modern football.
  14. Mowbray has done all his research on different transfer lists/targets. So he prepare for all situations. He has gone into finer detail of players. He is top man and good manager. We are very lucky to have him in charge here. Also expecting him to have a new contract sorted aswell. I would give him a new 3 year contract
  15. You got two players who can play in a number of positions which is a help to the squad.. I seen Bennett play 5 different positions this past season. Right back, right wing back, right wing, left wing and centre midfielder. So maybe last of patronising comment like that
  16. Posted it yesterday with link Neal.. Mellor a right back Robertson a centre back Both out of contract this summer. As Mowbray has said this morning he has different lists. A free transfer list, low fee list, over a million pounds lists, etc Mowbray and recruitment team have been busy with scouting and researching players. Its pleasing to see a manager working so hard and not relying on outside people bringing players in. I believe we need the right signings that fit within the club and Mowbray tactics/style of play
  17. Hameed playing for the Lancs second team today in 50 over game. Chanderpaul also playing there. The Lancashire squad for today 50 over game against Notts. Game starts 1.30pm..on Sky Sports Cricket Liam Livingstone (C), Tom Bailey, Karl Brown, Jordan Clark, Steven Croft, Alex Davies, Keaton Jennings, Arron Lilley, Joe Mennie, Graham Onions, Matt Parkinson, Stephen Parry, Dane Vilas My team would be Jennings Davies Livingstone Brown Vilas Croft Clark Bailey Mennie Parkinson Onions.
  18. Would sign no to Crouch. His wages still very high. We dont need 3 centre midfielders signings. We need 1. We got Smallwood, Travis, Evans and Bennett who can play there. I expect Bennett will play wide in some games as he will help defensively better than other. Otzumer would be decent but will he help being back up to Dack?
  19. Mowbray draw up different transfer target lists. http://www.lancashiretelegraph.co.uk/sport/16230168.Rovers__transfer_plans_drawn_up_dependent_on_Venky_s_funding/
  20. Yes. Left this morning with Waggott and Cheston for Pune
  21. I would be looking to sign Ivan Toney on permanent deal. valued at 500k on this website https://www.transfermarkt.com/ivan-toney/profil/spieler/251664 Will Vaulks, a centre midfielder valued at 500k on this website https://www.transfermarkt.com/will-vaulks/profil/spieler/238427 Hakeeb Adelakun, a pacey winger on a free transfer this summer according to this website https://www.transfermarkt.com/hakeeb-adelakun/profil/spieler/255129
  22. Mellor is a right back and Robertson is centre back
  23. Blackpool's Kelvin Mellor and Clark Robertson interest Wigan and Blackburn http://www.skysports.com/football/news/11728/11374906/blackpools-kelvin-mellor-and-clark-robertson-interest-wigan-and-blackburn
