I can understand that points. It is confusing. I think it will 2/3 permanent and 2/3 loans but we will be 4/5 signings.

Here is Rich Sharpe tweet from a hour ago. He mention a big one signing. Surely that wont be a defender. I can see us signing a cheap fee defender plus permanent signing either winger or striker then 2 loan players(Palmer and either winger or striker depending who we sign permanent.) Still cant believe Mowbray didnt sign Barry Mckay. He was the type of winger we need and for such a cheap fee

Look at @J*B post about us having 10 million pounds season budget. That also including new contracts for existing players, agents fees, players signing fees and 1st year wages and transfer fees(which most clubs pay over 2 to 3 year period)

500k for McKay is a bargain and great investment for us. He will only improve. Disappointed we not in for him. Fair enough if we have someone better line up but I cant see considering the talent and reported price.

I did mention Barry McKay as potential signing. 500k is a bargain. Quality player. Deffo someone we should be signing. I hope we are in for him and can beat Swansea to sign him. Then it would leave money for quality striker to come in permanent and back up centre back. Then another loan winger/striker. Rather we did it that way.

But after Mowbray/Waggott been given the budget by the owners I dont see them being involve afterwards. Thats was my point. My suggestion..

Havent Venkys given Mowbray and Waggott the budget so as far as Im concerned they arent involve as much as before. I wouldnt really want Nmecha tbh. Rather we went for Sam Gallagher or Adam Armstrong(rather have him permanent personal) on loan. For the centre back position I would target Liam Lindsay from Barnsley rather than Bauer from Charlton. No I wouldnt disappointed at all if the permanent signing is quality like Oliveria from Norwich. A player who scores goals on this level. I'm quite relax about everything. Yes we need 3 attacking signings and 1 defensive signing.

Pressure? Haha. I dont see it has pressure at all. You got to trust Mowbray and his staff to bring in the right players at the right price. Not over paying in this window for average players is a must. If it takes time it takes time. Simple as. In Mowbray we trust

Why are people only expecting loan signings? Very bizarre.. I see another loan signing after Palmer and 2 permanent signings. Mowbray is working on days and there is no leaks until the deal is close or done. Just like the Rothwell or Palmer deals. Expect a busy window this week. But I really hope we arent paying daft fees or wages for average players
