  1. thanks for the reply. If you do get one I hope you enjoy it. The Hughes days as manager were one of the best for me.
  2. Can I just ask is there any member who has bought a season ticket this coming season who didnt this season?
  3. The game is squad game now. Need a squad of 23/24 players good enough to complete at most levels.
  4. I wouldnt bring Payne if we can sign Otzumer on a free transfer. If we dont then I would sign Payne if the deal is right for us
  5. Jack Payne open to Rovers return http://www.lancashiretelegraph.co.uk/sport/16214917.Payne_open_to_Rovers_return/

  7. Think Hodgson has proven that he has good club manager and deserve praise for getting Palace out of the relegation area plus has played some good football there I agree Carvalhal being lucky to get the Swansea job after being sacked by Sheff Wednesday. After reading the news article I posted before I would be surprise if he is there next season. I wouldn't be surprise if Leon Britton and Alan Curtis are in charge of Swansea next season. On Moyes I think he done a good job at West Ham but from what I have read tonight it appears unlikely he will be there next season which I am very surprise by. Think he done the job he was bought in for and deserve at least another year contract there. Pardew was disaster at West Brom. Think its unfair on Lambert due to the problems within the club and recruitment policy there. I guess Lambert we will see how good he is next season at Stoke. He needs to produce next season and get them back up. but Stoke need a massive overhaul in the summer of players
  8. Surely this is everyone who is Blackburn Rovers fan and likely to be a season ticket holder which I am. Yet again Jim, You have no idea of me or what I have gone through from childhood upwards to Now so don't judge people you don't know. now you mention people using food banks and whilst people shouldn't be in this position given that we are living 2018 and it is great that they are these types of organisation to help these people. These people do have my sympathy totally. I feel like I have to post some private things(which I shouldn't have to) to defend from myself from certain people who think my life has to be easy to get where I am now, cos it wasn't but I never let things beat me.
  9. Its 5.50 pounds per month or 1.37 pounds per week using the direct debt scheme. Not a great deal of a increase. Surely every penny counts to most people. Im fully explained my circumstances and life. Most people have to live within the means and be sensible.
  10. McClaren set to replace Holloway at QPR https://dailym.ai/2I34V27
  11. Good points made. but somebody or some people recommend Sky Sports people to her and family. I remember Sky Sports being there the week after Shebby comments about Pedersen. It was Jim White interviewing Kean. Watch "Steve Kean Talks to Jim White From SkySports News 18/01/12" on YouTube https://youtu.be/AGIFb_UHY2o Was it Venky Rao interview day after we were relegated from PL? wasnt Alan Myers the interviewer? Wasnt it Simon Williams who idea it was for fans to go to India? Wasnt Alan Myers the reporter who went to India to interview the owners?
  12. From Rovers twitter account With less than half an hour until the ticket office closes, today has already been the busiest first day for Season Ticket sales in memory. Don't forget you can find all the 18/19 Season Ticket info at https://t.co/mthtYKnnsI https://t.co/7QGpe1nVQD
  13. It was pretty obvious comment tbh Jim. The fans have to turn up and support the team more by buying Season tickets, Club getting more sponsorship and etc. It is annoying seeing people worrying for no reason about non story. I could be that way tbh us spending money and I guess we will see what Mowbray transfer budget is after his meeting in India
  14. There is nothing wrong in my post just people overacting to a non story. People seriously need to calm down and chill out.
  15. Thanks Kamy. people can calm down and stop worrying like some previous posts. People have to trust or learn to trust Mowbray and know that he wouldn't come out with quotes like that. if he was saying what the Sun reported then he would have said to the LT and Radio Lancs not to the Sun. this is also a problem when national newspapers are covering Championship/league 1 clubs.
  16. He signed a left back on loan Stafylidis and midfielder Ndiaye. Mark Hughes record in his last 14 games werent much better points wise but defensively they were worse under Hughes than Lambert
  17. You are right, the club needs a massive clearout of the playing squad. Have you read the link ive posted?
  18. Stoke local paper why Lambert should be backed https://www.stokesentinel.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/stoke-city-paul-lambert-relegation-1540440 14 games before Lambert appointment, 31 goals concended since his appointment only 17 goals concended. So points to him sorting the defence out. From the article Those were the depths to which Stoke had sunk when Lambert received his hospital pass in January, too late to bring in his own signings, effectively consigning him to crisis management. What Lambert has achieved is to root out the problem players helping to bring the team down and restore a resilience, a genuine spirit, which perhaps reached its zenith at Anfield nine days ago. Where Lambert has unequivocally failed is to sharpen Stoke’s woefully blunt cutting edge in the final third. But that failure is not entirely his, surely, after having his hands tied by Jese’s disgraceful absence, Saido Berahino’s inexcusable lack of professionalism and Mame Diouf’s honest failings in front of goal. The paucity of Stoke’s attacking reserves was highlighted all too starkly against Crystal Palace on Saturday when he summoned Tyrese Campbell from the bench and basically asked a raw 18 year-old to save Stoke City Football Club from relegation. Lambert deserves a second crack, surely, because he will hopefully kick off next season with at least half-a-dozen of his own players ready for frontline action, armed with the ability the current squad lacks and fortifying the character he has rediscovered during his four months at the bet365. His proactive approach to signings will also minimise the failings of the club’s current process with a sit-at-home manager like Hughes around.
  19. wasn't the reporter is Alex James not Rich Sharpe as he is away on Holiday?
  20. I said Stoke are better tactical now then they were under Hughes so saying making things up again roversfan99(which you like doing). Hughes did a great job for the 1st 3 seasons but his 4 and 5 seasons were poor. he signed a left back cos they only 1 left back so what happens if Pieters got injury. Stoke needed a defensive midfield so I can see why he was signed. Lambert got his priorities all wrong? If I was there I would have wanted a complete overhaul and that it will happened in the summer. The entire squad is all wrong. all the excuses? These are my opinions from all the games Ive watched which you haven't which you admitted before and lets not forgot my opinion was back up by the Stoke Chairman and he told the reasons why Lambert is staying.
  21. I wont be insistent that getting rid of Conway was the right thing cos Ive just told why I would keep him but you ignore it again. cos you don't agree with it. Firstly out best player wasn't playing yesterday in Dack, so that's a lie again. Armstrong played up front with Graham and it look a threat. with those 2 up front and Dack in behind we could be a real threat up season. Williams and Nyambe can play as part of a back 3 so that point is irrelevant playing 3-4-1-2 next season at times would give us more attacking threat and 3 at the back would make us more solid. we need to have 2 different formations otherwise we become predictable and easy to play against I'm sorry but that 1st part is rubbish. Mulgrew can bring the ball out more as we have Williams and Lenihan covering and use his good passing range. both wing backs need to play high up
  22. playing 3 at the back would give 2 up front with Dack in the 10 role with Smallwood and another midfielder behind him, Bennett and Bell as wing back with Lenihan, Mulgrew and Williams as the back 3
  23. I can see Bennnett playing in centre midfield next season unless he is needed to do a defensive job out wide. Conway isn't meaningless cos he would be good squad man to bring when defending a lead and good in the dressing room. plus loads of experience and knowledge of this league, why get rid of that type of player. very strange
  24. I wouldn't have played 4-4-2 against Palace like Lambert did but played 4-3-3 formation with Adam, Ndaiye and Allen in centre midfield and Crouch up front with Shaqiri and Sohbi wide. Ireland? If you read the Butland article and him slamming the club recruitment policy it tells what been Stoke problems for the past 18 months/2 years. some of the signings have been poor to say the least. Promoting alternatives? I said who has been linked to the WBA job in the past few days/weeks and that's is all. stop stirring the pot I said Moore has done a good job so far and He deserve the job if we going off results. depends what the WBA board policies on recruiting a new head coach and what they are looking. That's said I got Moore at 10/1 and now he is 10/11 on now. Also have Johnson aswell at 8/1. Just like Ive got Hurst for the Ipswich job at 8/1 now he odds on for the job/or close too.
