  1. Who knows Who says we are scraping the barrel for saying?
  2. at least we know your expectations. made a loss? nope its what general happenings in football. fees are paid instalments. its has be rumoured that how Palace are paying the fee has Waggott even said this how we spent the Wharton money? GB did and I agree with him
  3. the first instalment of £6m has been used to fund the club in recent months. no I am not suggesting that at all, cos I believe we will 3 instalments of £6m over 3 instalments which we already had one, So I would used the other £12 million for £7m for summer budget, £3m for January budget, then £1m to the wage budget over 2 seasons. Other money like Raya money, etc cos be used towards running cost, improving the training grounds, academy facilities, etc How much would you want to spend this summer? what figure please?
  4. I think it should be extend to the start of the season.
  5. I will judge him on his performances in a Rovers shirt if he signed. I don't know whether he would sign here or not. I have suggested Daniel Iversen from Leicester and Ben Wilson from Coventry would either of those be acceptable to yourself? Also You don't say who you would so go on then who would be your 3 man shortlist for us to sign as our new keeper? names please? I agree we need investment into the squad and I think you can achieve this with £7m with players signings for cash transfers, loan signings and free transfers. We need around 7/8 signings without sales
  6. what 30 million. Kaminski and Phillips money has gone as that has to be raised last season as the owners rrequested as GB said in his post Summer interview. On Wharton, The first part of the £18m has already be spent. Szmodics hasn't be sold yet and I don't know if he will be or not. I did post on here not long ago my plan about what I would do in terms of transfer plan of £7m this window and save £3m for January window.
  7. Will this event be available to watch online who aren't members or not?
  8. John Ruddy's save percentage last season was 71.2% which was 4th best in the championship last season. So maybe your comments about him being past are wrong. https://x.com/BCFCStatistics/status/1803352887558382002
  9. I still think we will spend £7m during this transfer window. we need a number of player signings so I am not so downbeat as yourself on signing Ruddy or McFadzean myself. Ruddy was the 4th best shot stopper last season in terms of save percentage last season was 71.2%. no club ever pays a transfer fee up front in full. It is paid in instalments of 6 months or 12 months. So for example if you paid £5million for a player you could paid it £2m up front with instalments after that of £1m each 6 months after that.
  10. I be your boss Abbey, I'm sure we would get on and work together 👍🏻
  11. Home kit out first week in July https://www.rovers.co.uk/news/2024/june/19/retail-update-for-2024-25-kits/
  12. He would have to his coaching badges to be coach anyway, but communication is vital in any form of coaching or management of a team. I'm sure your manager you work is a very good at communicating with you?
  13. Cos he does know him, was his head coach last season Who cares what their fans think? Eustace had them 6th when he was there last season with Ruddy in goal. If Ruddy is the one Eustace wants then fair enough. It's his decision. Good leadership and communication skills who clearly understand the game Who says he is mates with Eustace? They will be times during the season where we need to sit back and play on the counter like Luton away or Leeds away for example
  14. Eustace knowing him with be factor in us . I think McFadzean is logical signing, but I would use him as a coach and get rid of Lowe He is coming back to do pre season training and we take it from there. Let's see what happens Why is it a big if? Even LT is changing it mind on it
  15. Good for you. I don't know why you reply anyway Blimey, what a over reacted. We look like re signing McFadzean on a 12 months contract who shown his worth last season, and possibly a keeper who was regular last season for his club and Eustace knows him very well
  16. Yes he did but for me, he choose the wrong career move and ending up in league 2 now. Many young players make the wrong career move and end up the same way
  17. Good player? you heard anything regarding first team signings? Well lets see him we sign Ruddy in the next couple of days I still think he should have signed a new contract and not made that move to Bournemouth like he did. He could have played a good part in a league 1 campaign under Mowbray but he wanted to move on. I wonder if he does regret moving away? I hope he has a good career at Barrow, Same as Sam Barnes
  18. He played in centre midfield loads in his international and club level. Plus no-one is saying Bellingham has sit next to Rice, he can forward loads from there but also Bellingham was dropping so far back to play next to Rice and TAA/Gallagher during the game. World class players we have 3. Foden, Kane and Bellingham. I want Gallagher in for exact what he does best, Box to box, pressing the ball, tackling His time will come I'm sure but he isn't a starter for the Denmark, if we win the game then the last game, I would start him next to Rice cos we would be through anyway Shame I missed it. First game I've missed
  19. I don't agree that Southgate has been a poor England manager at all. Then you see I was right. Initially instead Serbia pushed up higher and we made a couple of mistakes by given the ball away in dangerous areas If you fed up of English TV channels coverage our national team, change the channel over. No one is forcing you to watch it. Wright, Neville and Keane were spot on with their comments about England. Either play Bellingham or Gallagher next to Rice. very simple
  20. his club record has no bearing on this. Capello has won most trophies in major leagues yet he was useless at international level and tactical useless. Just more and more excuses.
  21. What is Foden's natural position? He has played all 3 positions behind the main striker this season. I like him either in the number 10 or left. Maybe he may end up like Paul Scholes where we never got the best out of him
  22. how? best Tournament results since Sir Terry Venables and Sir Bobby Robson. Hoddle, Eriksson, Capello, McClaren, Hodgson couldn't achieved what Southgate has with this set of players.
  23. Foden is class but we need to get the best out him, Bellingham and Kane.
