  1. It's normal that clubs have many names on shortlist for each position. I would have hope that Rovers would have get a couple over the line this week, but sadly we haven't. We need to make decisions on the players we want to sign. I'm hoping we can agree deals for a couple of players over the weeks and get the medicals done then announce on Monday/Tuesday. Over to you now Rovers recruitment team to bring players in
  2. Pears Brittain Hyam Batth Pickering Travis Tronstad JRC Dolan Hedges Gueye Subs:- Hilton, McFadzean, Duru, Buckley, Weimann, Sigurdsson, Ohashi, Vale, Batty My score prediction is 2 nil Rovers with Gueye scoring both goals
  3. Its a completely mess at Chelsea. The ownership in the last 2 years at Chelsea has been a mess. Its a joke the amount of transfer ins and outs there, 4 different permanent head coaches, lack of transfer cohered plan, long term contracts. Bohely is only small part of the ownership there. Some reports say Behdad Eghbali is the main power at Chelsea Todd Boehly was Poch IN, but Behdad Eghbali was Poch OUT, and we know who won - We Ain't Got No History (sbnation.com) Graham Potter’s surreal Chelsea reign – ‘There were so many players, some had to change in corridor’ - The Athletic (nytimes.com) Boehly happy to remain face of New Chelsea, even if real power lies elsewhere - We Ain't Got No History (sbnation.com)
  4. A goalkeeper, full-back, midfielder and wide attacker remain on the shopping list. Both Germain and Matondo have been identified as potential solutions on the left-hand side. A deal has been agreed in principle for the former but Rovers are weighing up whether to give it the green light. "I think they are on the list along with 60 other players that the recruitment team have been looking at. They are, yes," Eustace told The Lancashire Telegraph. "There is nothing imminent. I wouldn't expect anything before the weekend," Eustace added.
  5. You said we wouldn't sign Gueye and we did.
  6. From what is being reported Its seems like we are getting what players will cost, transfer fees, wages, etc. Then decide who we want. Out of the wingers/attacking players we have been linked to, my choices would be Poku from Peterborough or Matondo from Rangers. I think the keeper we sign will be PSV keeper Joel Drommel on loan to obligation to buy next summer. Just need a left back and centre midfielder in. I also think we will get another attacking player in.
  7. No idea tbh. Sky sports news were reporting the winger to Leeds from Almeria last night Meant centre midfielder
  8. Leeds have moved for a winger from Almeria. Fee agreed
  9. For me, we need 4 players in minimal. Keeper is a must..now Drommel has asked for transfer, I would go for him. Left back. Centre midfielder Left winger with pace. Then Stansfield whether perm or loan I would deffo welcome
  10. Look at his quality goal against Celtic. Rangers career 63 games, 6 goals, 10 assist Cercle Brugge career 27 games, 10 goals, 2 assist. Only 23 years. Tbh, I give up with yourself cos every player link you always pick fault with the player. I dont have a clue who you are expecting us to sign. We could sign Grealish and you would find fault/problems with it.
  11. Leeds are signing a winger from Almeria for £11m He fits the profile of the type of winger we wants. Let's see what happens in the next 9 days.
  12. Winger Rabbi Matondo is reportedly "destined" for a move to Blackburn Rovers this summer as Rangers escalate their summer clearout. https://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/sport/football/football-transfer-news/rangers-transfer-matondo-hagi-bradaric-33514882 https://m.youtube.com/shorts/G26WQNOyPgo https://youtu.be/yT3IQqJ4azk?si=Fdp_2oFetaQ_cx5m
  13. Jackson on holiday till Tomorrow. Other than Alan Nixon, what other journalist is interested in Rovers. Nicko has told us plenty is going on. Bids in players, waiting for responses now
  14. I take Travis at his word just like I took JDT at his word why Travis moved on in January @JHRover We asked about a loan before the Szmodics sale, whether that has changed now, who knows.
  15. well you do love a conspiracy theory JH don't you? You have heard directly from Travis himself why he left and yet again you don't accept his comments. I'm expected yourself to have that sort of comment.
  16. Well lets hope that Travis's interview has put to bed the issues why he left in January on loan, cos of JDT not wanting here, so he left. Given he has done this interview today, hopefully put to bed any potential transfer outgoing
  17. no chance under Holt's ownership there Critchley did very well in his first spell there but second spell a very different manager. maybe the QPR spell had led to his change of tactics and not having a plan B
