Rovers Rumours & Speculation

We have just sold Wharton for 22m plus Raya money and maybe more in the summer depending if anyone is sold. Plus comments from Waggott seems like the India situation shouldn't affect us this summer. We see in the summer and by what happens not now -
Rovers Rumours & Speculation
chaddyrovers replied to Herbie6590's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
Guys, if you disagree fine but only 2 summers ago we spent money and all 3 permanent signings are key players for us currently. On the keepers situation, Eustace might be happy with his options at keeper side and his focus might be that striker who could get us 20 goals a season striker -
pointless. Can't speak English and seems to have no interest in learning English. He is way out of their reach. Ten Hag need a reaction second half from his players now

Man Utd were battered in that half. so poor they are. Can't see Ratcliffe keeping Ten Hag next season, not with with the new club management coming in. Wouldn't surprise me if they went for Thomas Frank from Brentford as their replacement for him

Rovers Rumours & Speculation

I think we will have transfer budget of around £6m plus part any fees for players sold during the summer. It will be interesting to see where we strengthen and how. We know we need a quality striker for sure, back up right back, possible Szmodics replacement, Keeper if Eustace wanted a new one who maybe he is happy with Pears and Wahlstedt for example. -

echo chamber? really? slammed Rovers over ST prices, match day prices, lack of quality food on the match day menu, lack of clear communication from the owners and CEO over various things like problems from India or McGuire failed transfer, called for action from Rovers over the failed Transfer of Duncan McGuire staff changes wise. So your claim seems to wide of the mark -

Bonus of using hindsight, looking back at the way we were playing and seeing how we have tighten up defensively and pick up players plus reading some players comments like Brittain and Scott Wharton. I was surprised by Wharton's comments about the way JDT treated him around the Dingles away game. I was gutted and angry about JDT leaving and how is seems to exploded from the start of December under him. QPR battered us and the failed transfer of McGuire seemed the end for JDT. I am surprised he went to International football head coach job but he did. I have a lot of time for what he did here and under different leadership, budget and players he might have got us promote -

I have nothing more to add to this than I have already the reasons why I think the win is his. Its was 3 points for Rovers at the end of the day -
Buckley's technically and ability to find a pass will be needed in some games.

I think you will actually find Eustace sees that game as a win for him and Rovers. Source is Elliott Jackson's podcast Arte Et Labore last week episode Eustace was involved in the team selection and tactics on the Friday night before the Stoke Game as Johnson confirmed post game plus Eustace actually didn't sit in the director box when Rovers need direction and leader on the touchline, he rolled his sleeves up and got it down -
Dilan Markanday.. potential talent or ?

no chance. We need to find a similar type of player like Szmodics if he even leaves -
Cos JRC and Tronstad are playing well and suits each other game. Buckley will play in some games before end of the season

John Eustace - our head coach
chaddyrovers replied to chaddyrovers's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
I don't agree one bit, we had Carter, Moran, Buckley, Garrett, Chrisene and Telalovic who could on and made an impact but everyone was playing well and to the plan. I said a few weeks that Eustace needed time on the training pitch to get his ideas over to the pitch. You can see the impact he has had since this time. -

I agree that I think under JDT we would have gone down. Eustace has come in and started by making harder to beat, defensively more solid and picking up points. Now we are developing our attacking game. Since his appointment, we have won 2 games, 7 draws and 3 losses in 12 league including 3 clean sheets. That's 13 points gained since JDT left Rovers. I have high thoughts of JDT and I enjoyed his time here apart from the last 2 months were when things fall apart under JDT and we were freefall. I do think he will managed in one of top 5 leagues in Europe but I do think alot of owners/CEO will be aware about how media savvy and openness with situations he is. I don't see him managing in the Championship again tho -

Exactly Herbie. He did mention Luton a couple of weeks ago about their interest in Szmodics. We all know they will be interest in Szmodics this summer, but will a club offer what we want, and Will Szmodics want to move or not -

Very good performance that today. Workrate were at exceptional level and defensively solid and limited Southampton to very little clear cut chances given their quality. The team is improving under Eustace and the fans today recognised that. the fans were great today Its a shame we couldn't have got that winner that I found our overall performance deserved. Back 4 were excellent and Brittain's best game in a Rovers shirt. Hyam and Wharton very good and kept Armstrong and Adams quiet all game. Pickering good aswell. JRC and Tronstad in centre midfield is excellent partnership that's suits each other games. Brittain my man of the match. best player on the pitch Hedges getting injured is problem for me but Markanday put in a shift when he came on and he really upped his level of performance today. Proud of the players and Eustace got his tactics spot on today and the players are really understanding what he wants on and off the ball. Eustace deserved huge credit for what he is trying to create here. I think we found a gem here. We just need to keep picking up points and focus on us and not others Eustace's Blue and White Army 🔵⚪ -

I'm going for 3-1 Rovers win. Shame about the ref. It would be zero shocked and surprised if he was crap like Atwell was against Ipswich and got major decisions wrong. -
Also to factor in that we have just brought in a new footballing management structure with a DoF and GB plus no recruitment staff either that summer.

Its an interesting question how we would play if Szmodics does moved on. We could go 4-3-3 or 4-4-2 or move Buckley into the 10 role but with that it would mean a change of style cos he can't play the 10 role like Szmodics. I think we need a signing in that position but I would say Szmodics ain't left yet tho -
They haven't accept it I read earlier today
