  1. he played his first season but last 2 season been number 2 and he wants to be first choice now.
  2. did I say it would? Eustace clearly wants Ruddy which I said I think wouldn't do that transfer. I'm more in favour of bringing in 1 of those 2 keepers who we were linked today or someone like that. We seems to be looking into Europe for players and I am pleased by that.
  3. Possible council taxes rises coming and working out what it might be and how it would affect me and my missus
  4. exactly and he is playing in the Dutch top division. Looking at permanent signing is the right division and someone who will improve is I agree totally. I wonder if he has release clause? Cos Eustace wants Ruddy. I agree and looking at these 2 keepers to bring in 1 is the right way to go.
  5. Dutch keeper Jeffrey de Lange at Go Ahead Eagles. De Lange, 26, may cost £2 million and is emerging as the leading contender although fellow countryman Joel Drommel at PSV Eindhoven has also been considered. 6. ok Of course, Rovers come first.
  7. If we want that pressing number 10 like we had with Szmodics then Dolan sees the ideal man for that role Most likely tomorrow or Sunday He had 3 chances so far but without seeing them I don't know how good of a chance they were. Hopefully we see some good highlights of the game by Stockport or Rovers.
  8. I think Dolan will play the 10 role with JRC on the right and Hedges on the left given us balance on the left
  9. Do you really think I would miss a Rovers game? Seriously? I wouldn't be working would I. Wrong again ABBEY, but you just carry blaming Sky and ranting about it. You all knew about this TV deal was in place Watford last season was on Sunday at dinner time. 1 nil win with good finish
  10. Very happy with the Weimann signing. Loads of experience and goals at this level..can play 3 or 4 different positions. Still need experience keeper, left back, pacey winger and centre midfielder in. My Liverpool STH work colleague rates him. Says he needs first team football now which we can offer, can play either wing position.
  11. So how much bigger do you want us squad to then 24/25 players. Leonard is out till September with his shoulder. Hilton will be either 3rd choice or loan out. Markanday I would loan out again. For me, we need around 25 players this season with 5 signings we achieve this. Loans all depends on quality. Tyjon and Duru would be part of our squad for me.
  12. I guess its depends who the 3 is. As a guess Hyam. My prefer would have been left footed centre back either perm or loan. lets look at the squad Keeper - Pears, Hilton, New Signing Right back - Brittain, Duru Centre back - Hyam, Carter, O'Riordan, Batth, McFadzean Left back - Pickering, New Signing Centre midfielder - Travis, Tronstad, Buckley, New Signing RW - Hedges, JRC, Markanday Number 10 - Szmodics, Sigurdsson, Weimann LW - Dolan, New Signing Striker - Gueye, Yuki, Leonard, Vale, Tyjon So for me, we need 4 signings, maybe 5 if Szmodics leaves. Plus is Sigurdsson going or leaving
  13. Woah, If I had a tenner for every time you mention a tipping point I could have bought Man City. I see Szmodics is still here and no agreement yet.
  14. well Josh, Its the way we been playing in pre season
  15. no 4-2-3-1 formation but when we have the ball Pickering stay back and Brittain move forward to provide the width from the right and JRC moves inside to the 10 role. With Dolan provides the width from the left
  16. We will need 5 centre backs this season. We will switch to back 3 at times. Also Connor is one who will play his part this season Cos Ipswich aren't willing to pay the fee we want. With Garrett going on loan, we will need a centre midfielder signing, Deffo still need first choice keeper, pacey winger, left back and replacement for Szmodics.
  17. Totally understand completely Matty as I said a number of times but I also accept that football is changing and that clubs thought the TV rights were worth more than they were getting. I fully accept all that this new TV deal massively affects match going fans. I was speaking to a friend this morning who is die hard Blackpool FC STH and goes to many away games. He almost walk away this season from going cos of the cost of STH and the changing kick off times. Also said he will be doing less less away games this coming season cos of this new TV deal. On your question, not recently like yourself, I wanted to go Leeds away last season but situation didn't allow at all. Now doing away games is much more difficult cos of my missus illness getting worse and me needed to be home more. I missed doing the away games and local ones are much easier cos of the time away from home.
  18. Who was going to stop this deal given it was the EFL clubs who wanted more TV revenue so the EFL negotiated the best deal they could for what was vote I have plenty of empathy for fans effective by the change of kick off time but this was always going to be case. 4am? would be fantastic given I worked night 😉 What about them? Football in the UK is changing with clubs wanted more TV revenue income so more games go on TV What are you going on about again? just rants after rants.
